The New Zealand indie electronic act Over the Atlantic features multi-instrumentalists Nik Brinkman and Bevan Smith. Brinkman had already been tinkering with Over the Atlantic as a solo project and had issued a few compilation tracks upon meeting Smith through a mutual friend in early 2004.
