A refreshing wakeup, intellectual tales we can all relate to!
David Dallas has definitely matured as an individual, rapper and artist in this much anticipated solo debut release. You can tell he's having fun on this album, straight vibing to the beat in every song, flowing effortlessly and with precision, telling vivid stories and recalling hilarious situations. The ability to relate to his lyrics speaks volumes about the culture we have here in NZ. This is an album for the peeps from the early '80s to the present-day. From David talking about day-to-day financial woes, university and getting a degree, hangin' with the bros and playin' computer games to relationships and family. This is an album everyone could appreciate. We All want to be Something Awesome. 5 stars
Well worth the wait
It has been brewing for a while, but this material from my fave NZ MC is a fresh perspective into his highly adaptive delivery and exceptional flow. No stranger to the world stage. I look forward to what the future has in store for our very own David Dallas.

Double thumbs up. If I had more thumbs, I'd put up more than just two, but I only have two so double thumbs up it is. Great artwork too. If an album is awesome, you might as well tell it like it is, and this is Something Awesome.
