If you are a shapeshifter fan you are in for a treat, this is just what we have been waitig for. The only thing better than this is seeing them live. Epic

Fantastic Album - BUY IT!
Wow! Recorded live, the production is warm, alive and rocking! Rather than just programming beats Redford is in the studio nailing the beats to the wall, Pdiggs has taken his singing to a new level, you can just picture them all in playing their instruments live this time around and having a blast,Tiki guests on the track 'Fire' and does a great job adding some special sauce, fire also has a mean percussive ending (This will be sic live!) A solid effort from start to end, one thing Shapeshifter have managed to do is paint their canvas with a plethora of glowing colours, they never stick to one monotone style and really know how to fuse many styles of music together successfuly, you'll find Jazz, Soul, rnb, dnb, metal, dub and garage all melded into epic/sonic landscapes that simmer and rage in perfect unison.
Stand out tracks, Dutchies / Fire / System / Tokyo, I can't wait until these lads have really cemented these songs well into their live repertoire, since these tracks were recorded organically I can only imagine the fury that will unleashed when played live. 5 stars! These guys deserve international success and I wish them the best of luck, go buy this album and support one of the most dynamic and exciting bands to come from NZ in a long time.
