BNZ Mobile
Version 2.0.0 includes Mobile NetGuard so customers can login to Mobile Banking using only their password. Mobile NetGuard is optional, so it needs to be ‘turned on’ within the app. To do this, login as usual with your access number, password and NetGuard card, then choose the ‘Activate’ button on the Mobile NetGuard screen.
BNZ Mobile Banking is a quick and easy way to bank on the move.
• You can:
- check your balances and available funds
- see details of your transactions for the last 30 days
- quickly transfer money between your accounts
- pay your bills (to existing bill payees) or credit card
- make one-off payments
- view or delete your upcoming payments
• Includes a handy BNZ store and ATM locator, and list of key BNZ phone numbers
• There’s no monthly access fee for BNZ Mobile Banking
• BNZ Mobile Banking is kind to your mobile data plan, but your usual data charges will apply

BNZ Mobile Banking and Internet Banking are protected by:
• NetGuard, for second-layer security
• 128-bit encryption
• lock-out and time-out safeguards
You can help by:
• Logging out of BNZ Mobile Banking as soon as you’ve finished.
• Not storing your BNZ access number, password or NetGuard coordinates in any form on your mobile device.
What's New in Version 2.0.0
You asked for it and here it is - secure Mobile Banking without using your NetGuard card.
This release gives you the option of using Mobile NetGuard to automatically authenticate your details when you login to Mobile Banking. Mobile NetGuard is embedded within the app on your device and once it’s activated you can login using only your Internet Banking password. To activate Mobile NetGuard, login as usual with your access number, password and NetGuard card, then choose the ‘Activate’ button on the Mobile NetGuard screen.
Also in this release:
• Edit the nicknames you’ve chosen for your accounts
• Change your email address and password
• A customised keyboard for the login screen with both alpha and numeric characters
