Would love it more if I could...

I’ve been a a Fitbit fan for 6 years, upgrading twice. I love it. 5 stars for my Fitbit device, fewer for the app. My suggestions for improving it:
1: The app doesn’t track my bicycle commute. It has the capability to track my GPS when I walk. Why not when I cycle? Other apps can and do.
2: I’d like to be able to enter my waist measurements as that’s an indicator of health.
3: Please add a New Zealand food database.
4: I don’t like the women’s cycle tracker at all, I have returned to my old one. This one is clunky and makes assumptions that are irritating.

Good while it works

I’ve had a Fitbit since 2019, and I recently downloaded the app on my phone so I could see my stats every day. However, the annoying things about this app are:
1. My watch always takes a long time to sync, even when I place my watch next to my phone. I have to wait ages and ages, and even then it doesn’t show my sleep stats on my watch.
2. Whenever I try to look at my sleep stats, the screen always freezes. I never know my sleep score and sometimes it’s hard to work out if I’ve reached my goal. Plus, I can’t even press the exit button, so I have to close the app and reload it again. This is very time consuming.
Thank you for taking the time to read this review. I’d appreciate it if you could try and solve these problems. Then I can give you 5 stars.

Helpful all

Simple to use Clearly shows where you are at with goals, graphs, rewards and updates. It may be discouraging when you see the weight going up. The app gives you the brutal reality of where your health is. So you work on one thing (steps or minutes or heart rate or sleep) and then that improves. Great. And then you keep at it and your overall health improves. That is my experience so you can see I like the app.

Also nice was the long term report of how many exercise minutes a day I have collected. On my last trip to a doctor I showed him the minutes of exercise for the year and was able to say…”it is real. I have been exercising regularly. “
