Working good but I found a bug
Gmail is always working well, notifications are quick which is really important for me. There is no SPAM in mailbox what happens in other mail apps. Layout of the app is clear and well designed.
But
When i tap on the email contact name and then choose one of the emails from the “Interactions” tab nothing happens for a while(the app closes the window with the contact and goes back to the main page) and next notification shows up with “Error” theme and “Not loading” in the description.
Yes, i already updated my app to the newest version;)
Privacy hell
UnGoole yourself. These days there are plenty of email providers superior to Google in terms of privacy. Same goes for search engines, cloud storage, calendar, etc.
The amount of data Google collects is ridiculous and the fact that Google employees have insight into it, as well as any gov agencies is very unsettling.
Before installing any Google app found in App Store scroll to the privacy section and see what user data they collect, you will be surprised what they do in comparison to other services. Gmail, has only in-transit encryption, E2E should be a standard these days. It’s insane that people decide to give up so much privacy for the sake of convenience. Google isn’t a product, the user is a product, your data is monetized by Google and they make billions if not trillions on it while all you get is a bunch of free services and not a broken penny. If you give away all your privacy at least you could get paid for it.
Swipe problem left to right on ipad
The problem has been fixed. The app works well. I Love it. I give it five stars. Thank you Google for a great app :)
Each time when I swipe from left to right to see the menu the screen goes blank. Then I have to restart gmail. This is annoying. I started using spark until the update is available to fix this problem.
