Great news for those who always forget where their boarding pass is. Now you can store it digitally, in your secure and private Apple Wallet. There is no more “I have no idea where I last saw it”, because it’s always at hand. Amazing, isn’t it?
And we are always busy bees when it comes to developments and fixing some bugs.
Ratings and Reviews
Good company in overall but the app should be updated to the current standards
Highly recommend fixing a very annoying bug during check-in.
Every time I check in, I change my contact number and click on a checkbox to update this data in my account. But every time the old number gets back during the next check-in.
Also, ability to sign in with google or Facebook would be perfect. Plus adding Apple Pay would be the best cherry on a cake :)
Due to technical error flight cancelled, no refund
Do not recommend. Flight showed up as cheap when bought through app, Wizz Air gladly pocketed the money, then sent an email that it was a technical error, and that the reservations have been cancelled. Got an email suggesting I will receive a refund. Next day I get an email I will receive Wizz Credits “because you requested the 120% WIZZ credits, or we are uploading those automatically to your WIZZ account as no other option was selected”. I did not request those credits. No credits even showed up in the account either. I want a refund but now I am forced to wait 30 days for customer service to write back, and heard that the refund process may take up to 6 months? It almost looks like the technical error was orchestrated on purpose to pocket quick cash like a loan from multiple users. Will not be using this sleazy airline ever again.
Bug during payment
After starting payment by card, the app redirects to a 3D-secure page. This is where I got a notification from my bank app to approve the payment, so I switched to the bank app, approved the payment successfully, and returned to WizzAir app. WizzAir app notified me that I lost connection to the internet and the payment process was stopped. This occurred to me one more time. I did not try anymore because the payment was (of course) taken from my card, twice now. Unbelievable that this an app is not able to deal with mobile card payments. Not only did I not buy the tickets, but now I have to spend time with customer help asking to get my money back. Would give negative stars, if it was possible. This is basic functionality of a mobile app, come on…
