Look no further for motivation, inspiration and top notch life living information.
I happened upon Dan's Podcast several months ago. I was struck by his candor, honesty and sage advise. His early pod casts are recordings of his weekly, Sunday evening radio show where he would answer questions on careers, purpose and life planning. His more recent podcasts are a different format, where he records a weekly podcast and answers questions posted to his "No More Monday's blog. Many of these questions are posted by readers of his most recent book "No More Mondays". I like the recent podcast format best because he picks a series of the most interesting questions and is able to provide more comprehensive answers than the radio format would allow. Dan covers many topics including: Life Planning, goal setting, finding your purpose in life, over coming procrastination, time management, "boot strapping a business (starting a business with little or no money), finding your passion in life, etc. I highly recommend this podcast. I listen to it every week. I am an avid pod cast listener of many casters, and I find Dan to be one of the very best! Kenny Bunnell kennybunnell.com
Great Information for Job Seekers
I've been listening to Dan Miller's podcast for over a year now--like so many others, I first heard of him from Dave Ramsey. Dan gives great, common sense advice on what to do if you find yourself looking for a job, whether from a "downsizing" or from a desire to do something different. Sometimes his advice isn't so "common-sensical", like when he redefines risk in the workplace. He says that it is more risky to have one customer than it is to have five customers. Ok, so that's not a mind-blowing proposition, but when he goes on to state that if you work for a company then you only have one customer (i.e. the company you work for) it starts to make you think. Dan helps you gain the knowledge to work and stay ahead in our increasingly-service-oriented society. My only complaint is that it sometimes sounds like he's talking into a tin can--probably has to do with the software he uses to record his podcasts. But the message quality outweighs the audio quality, and besides, I definitely get my money's worth!
Dan is the man!
I was a lost and wondering soul about 4 years ago...I called Dan and sat down with him one on one for about 4 sessions, and I am doing much better mentally, stressfully (if thats a word), and financially! I would highly encourage anyone who is wondering what to do with their career and life to listen to this guy...I believe that he is sincere and definitely found his calling! If you ever read this, I just want to say thanks Dan! Tad
