    Pizza Amore: Beef podcast #135

    Pizza Amore: Beef podcast #135

Pizza Amore is an up and coming Budapest based duo. Resident djs at the city’s underground clubs such as Lärm or Toldi, embedded in the local scene. They have a bi-weekly gathering in the mystic basement of Központ, frequently playing at the always vibrant mhmm parties, and as the part of their own Torso crew, they’ve brought names to Budapest such as Parris, Privacy, Rudolf C and Stevie Whisper. During the summer they performed at some of the best Hungarian festivals (Bánkitó, Kolorádó, Sziget). This mix was recorded at the end of August, the first half is selected from their favs played on those sunny days, mostly eclectic, breaky and playful house while the second half contains some heavier more experimental tracks. We are happy to welcome them on Beef with this 2 hour long selection.

    Slater: Beef podcast #132

Slater, Prague-based dj and label-head of Tribal Vision, has been a long time collaborator with Beef records. This guest podcast recorded is an eclectic trip across genres, departing from beatless electronica and moody hypnotiq techno, through housy grooves, ending with progressive breaks and layered post-pop. TV: Beef podcast #131

    TV: Beef podcast #131

Tomas Vasak aka TV has been on the forefront of Czech Underground scene in the early 00s. It’s been a while since TV recorded a mixtape. Here goes his latest one and as Tomas puts it:
"I try to not limit myself on a single musical style, but rather open to the entire musical world. While attempting to put it all together - all those different styles, sounds and tracks - i try to create a kind of Collage instead of a classical mix where one track follows the other.
This is the result. Result which i believe is still harmonic and homogenic, yet it has lots variations and unexptected digressions." For tracklist and info go to: http://www.beefrecords.net/podcasts

    Dircsen: Beef podcast #130

New podcast episode comes from Dircsen, who recently joined Beef records catalog with his 12" called Beyond Collapsing Silence.
Dirk puts it: I was born in the year of the TB 303. In the mid 90s I began to collect vinyl records and learned how to mix. I am heavy influenced by the techno and acid culture of the 90ties, but i never played in clubs, that is not my thing. Since 2003 I produce electronic music with releases on Instabil, Soundtravels records, Endless Illusion and Beef records. So you see, not very spectacular, music is my hobby and music speak more than words.” We hope you will enjoy this eclectic acid infused mix tape.
