Great Topic - Bad Production
I like this podcast. It is great to get an intelligent perspective on some of the new books on the market. I find myself so busy these days that I find less and less time to read and this podcast allows me to put together a reading list I might enjoy without wasting too much time on books I dislike. That being said the production quality is horrible. Get yourself a decent copy of Audacity or Garage Band and a good USB microphone. I have friends that produce better podcasts with a laptop and microphone they bought at Walmart. If you want to improve your skills try Tee Moris (et al) "Podcasting for Dummies", he is a great podcaster and a pretty darn good author too. Always remember good content can be lost in bad production.
Excellent interviews
These author interviews are short, sweet, and very interesting. Miller does a very good job with unique questions and the author list is quite varied. Well worth subscribing.
Just the right size
I find these 10 minute interviews fascinating and just the right amount to draw me into wanting the read the books. I have bought more than half a dozen books I wouldn't otherwise be familiar with through these interviews. The topics range quite a bit, fiction and nonfiction alike. Definitely worth ten minutes of your time.
