Use it in class!
I'm a teacher that uses this in class and having it in the form of a podcast is fantastic, better quality sound & video & not reliant on the school's connection. Thanks
Students just want to be entertained.... so this should be perfect!
I am a Civics teacher who uses CNN student news each Monday to start the school week. If I had 10+ minutes every day I would use this program every day. I chuckle when I read the students on here complain about having to watch this in their classes at school..... would they rather the teacher open the newspaper and read to them or just lecture? The programs are EXCELLENT at covering important current issues that all students AND teachers should know about. Young people..... "don't hate....educate" !
Stop, you Lazy Potatoes
Just because you see it in school everyday does not mean its stupid. CNN Student News keeps you up to date with what's happening everyday, so you don't become some nobody living in the US or whichever country, not knowing what on earth is going on. It's not crap, its very helpful and educational. My teacher provides tests every Friday on this CNN Student News and I find this podcast a very helpful study tool. So shove it, learn the news, and try not to complain at everything that requires you to exhort some sort of effort.
