A Modern Day Harry Browne
Forget those so-called market gurus who claim they can predict the future and think they know what the next hot trend will be. If you're looking for a safe, low-risk, and reliable way to protect and grow your most precious savings in even the harshest economic climates — without any market timing or the need for unnecessary risk — look no further. Craig Rowland guides listeners through the teachings and principles of the late Harry Browne and the ultra-secure Harry Browne Permanent Portfolio. The Permanent Portfolio is a simple, permanent and rock-solid investment strategy — first introduced by Harry Browne in the 1970s — that performs well during inflation, deflation, prosperity or recession. Buy yourself a copy of Harry Browne's book, "Fail-Safe Investing" and then sit back, relax and listen to the Crawling Road podcast. It will be one of the smartest decisions you've ever made.
Great Overview
I really enjoyed listening to Craig provide an overview of the permanent portfolio investment strategy and the rules for investment safety Harry Browne outlined in "Fail Safe Investing".
Craig's website is also a great resource for permanent portfolio related articles and discussions.
Even I get it.
This has got to be one of the best personal investment programs on iTunes. Rowland is succinct and to the point, with no political agenda or backdoor attempts to sell securities to listeners. No bragging, no ego, no sound effects or "boo-yah!" in the background. The Crawling Road program is educational, so the listener learns the "why" of particular investments included under this portfolio strategy. I plan to tune in every week.
