Customer Reviews

An X-Men fan's delight

A great podcast for X-Men fans. These brave souls go through the trouble of reviewing every single X-Men related book month to month. The show works because of the unique perspectives of each host. Paul's the long time reader, and living encylopedia of X knowledge. Antony represents a newer generation of X fans. Elizabeth is the brand new reader, thrown blindly into the chaos that is X-Men continuity. We also have Corwin's excellent Merc Report, that gives us the low down on all things Deadpool. Each reviewer gives us a clear, concise, and honest review of every X related book coming out. To top things off they also give us a bit of X-Men history by reviewing past stories, in the "Days of X-Men Past" segment. With their great on air chemistry, intelligence, and humor, we get a great podcast that's a must listen for all X fans.

Great show!

This is a great podcast! They're funny, they get along well (mostly of the time) and they know their stuff. More importantly, they all tend to agree with me!

The Absoulte X-Men Podcast

Cultural Wormhole: X-Nation gives a much refreshing taste in both X-Men news and reviews that has been much needed in a comic industry where X-books are no longer the dominant franchise as it was from the 90’s to the early 2000’s. We get three hosts from different backgrounds and locations joining together and being none pretentious, as they gathered around and talk about all the X-Books that every fanboy and fangirl care about. Elizabeth brings the most awesome and entertaining haikus to every episode that will guarantee to make you laugh, and realize just how silly the X-Men franchise can be at times. Paul bring his Wikipedia knowledge of everything X-Men to the podcast in a non-pretentious way, and giving everyone on the show and listeners a more insightful knowledge of the books at hand. Meanwhile Anthony finishes off the show by being the perfect balance of two, being funny and insightful. He’s the perfect navigator to keep the show on course. There is also the segment; Days of X-Men Past which is a refreshing segment giving every listener (newcomers or old time readers) a more up to speed update in what has happen their favorite mutants in the past ten years. It also helps the show too that it is both Gambit and Deadpool friendly. As well as being easily accessible to new comers to the books.

Then there is the co-feature show the Merc Report with Corwin. Who the almighty Bea Arthur bless him, reviews every Deadpool book (which can be just as many the X-Book themselves!!) by himself. He gives every single crazy, awesome, taco loving moment that everyone’s favorite Merc with a Mouth does in his mainy ongoings. Which makes every show just as enjoyable as the main feature.

If there is one X-Men, or one Comic Book podcast you should be listening to and downloading constantly it is Cultural Wormhole: X-Nation!!
