Customer Reviews

Listen to 10 hours for every good 1 hour...

It's painful to write this review, but gawd, these podcasts are so full of mindless rambling and drivel. Sure, there are "nuggets" in here. But you have to listen to TONS of mindless banter and wait for really good stuff. "Mobile podcasting studio?" -- he's driving in his car, fighting LA/OC traffic, and spouting anything which pops into his mind... PLEASE, if you're part of the LA film/television/broadcasting scene and you know Dave Oneal, PLEASE give him some coaching on PLANNING or SCRIPTING what he's going to broadcast to the net. Less material, if it's higher quality, is much better than TONS of fluff. Unfortunately, this podcast has been way too fluffy... Dave's heart may be in the right place (I don't know him) but I've started wondering if much of this self-aggrandizing podcast is just a way for him to sell stuff and make money. It's painful to watch "Disney Legends" like Bob Gurr tripping all over themselves to be on Dave's podcasts, almost as if this podcast is their final opportunity to make one last public "splash" at the end of their careers/lives. It's very sad. There, I said it. I feel less violated now that I've spent (wasted?) so much time "evaluating" these podcast episodes. I hope it helps someone else. Sheesh.

Great Idea But Too Much Advertising

Nice idea, great potential. Hawking the DVDs needs to be limited to a brief mention at the end. BTW, the DVDs are good quality and a good deal. This is Candidate #1 for a VIDEO PODCAST! Cheers! Michael

Difficulty in playback

I love this podcast, along with several other Disneyland-related podcasts, but recently it has had issues in playback--whenever the podcast is paused during playback it restarts upon a return to listening...not a big issue for smaller podcasts, but for those topping 2 hours, it gets quite annoying, as I rarely have a given 2 hour time period available to listen to a podcast without pausing it...
