Transition in Podcast = bad
So far it has not been a good transition in my opinion. They got rid of Kevin (or he left) but either way it is not the same. The good old stories and expertise and guests are not the same and it is not nearly as enjoyable. Hopefully they fix it and soon...or it will fall from the ranks quick.
Major about-face needed!
This has been a dependable podcast for several years......solid information, a bit windy at times but well worth the price of admission (free). But now the new owner of the website/podcast has hired his young girlfriend (it's the only explanation I can come up with) to write and voice the episodes. The fellow before was a true announcer and had decent endurance sports knowledge. Nothing against the new host personally, but she is very out of her element...both in front of a microphone and in trying to be an expert on the topics covered (she obviously is not). My 17-year-old daughter could do better. Please, bring in someone with some gravitas to produce this podcast.
Not what it once was
I'm with the other reviewers... I had high hopes for the new host, and was excited to see a female in the role, but she just can't come close to filling Kevin's shoes. I realize everything changes and people need to move on for all sorts of reasons, but I so wish they could bring Kevin back. Nothing against her, I'm sure Tawny's a fine athlete, but her interviewing skills are sorely lacking. I'm afraid I'll have to be moving on too... Or downloading some more of last year's episodes. Very sad.
