I'm Fausto Fernós, internet maniac. I have an unusual name, it' means "lucky." Together with my partner Marc Felion (who has an amazing sexy voice) we do a daily talk show called Feast of Fun we started way back in 2005. We do this because we love talking about funny news, politics and strange stuff we find on the internet with our friends and people who are super duper famous. Although Girls will be Girls was a hit with critics and audiences, the making of a sequel was cost prohibitive. Now, thanks to digital video cameras and fundraising tools like Kickstarter, fans raised the funds needed to create the apocalyptic sequel coming out next year: Girls Will be Girls 2012. Today we are joined by Jack Plotnick, the man behind Evie Harris sharing with us the anguished journey of actors in Hollywood trying to find meaning in their lives and the origins of Evie Harris, a washed-up, alcoholic, aging C-List actress. Entertaining and original
The Feast of Fools is just plain fun for those smart enough to subscribe. Here one finds a show that's both thoughtful and original, with a multifaceted mix of comedy and absurdity that flat-out works. Fausto, his partner Marc and the various eccentric guests who wander in front of his microphone (most notably the quick-to-laugh and surely fabulous Victoria Lamarr) employ just enough charm to coax his guests into revealing humorous insights, interspersed with honest attempts at audience enlightenment. The near-perfect mixture of informed commentary mingling amongst uninformed rants just can't be beat. After I stopped watching television nearly a year ago, I have found that The Feast of Fools is like a sweet, sweet chocolate--a delectable little confection laced with just enough absurdity to get me through until the next taste.
