Flickfights!

I was first introduced to this website by Travis Betz and since then I am on it all that time. It is such a great site to rate and comment you favorite movies. Also it introduces you to movies you have never heard of. I love listening to the flickfights every wedensday!!!! It is the reason I will get out of bed just to sit in front of my computer with a bowl of cereal and listen to Devin and Travis go at with movies. They are both awesome guys and I watch everything that Travis throws out on the internet. However I haven't seen Lo yet, but I already know that it is a fantastic movies and anybody who is anybody should go and see it! Keep up the good work Devin and Travis!!!!

more bad than good

This is a great concept for a podcast: using FlickChart.com to select two random movies at a time and debate which is better. Unfortunately, the two guys doing it know very little about movies and their tastes are very dull and pedestrian. One of them has hardly seen anything made before the 80's or outside Hollywood except a handful of standard classics. They also have frequent issues with the recording levels, which often makes listening a chore. Oh, and "Trivia Girl" simply copies stuff from IMDb. If I had to constantly reference a dictionary, I wouldn't call myself "Definition Man". However, I will admit I keep listening, mostly hoping they'll discuss an interesting movie. Most of the time when one comes up, they haven't seen it.

A Friendly Suggestion

This podcast could be just as addicting as the website itself, but instead is dragged down by way too much commentary on each film. I just can't take what feels like ten minutes per ranking even if it is an extremely tough decision. Please, for the listener's sake, start going by a time limit for each ranking. Two to three minutes is all you need to make a decision especially if your doing it for a podcast. I believe it would be so much more engaging if you did it this way. I look forward to watching more. Thanks!
