By far my favorite podcast
This is one of two podcasts I check every day for new posts. Wish there were more Nic! Nic knows what he's doing. Sit back and relax. Enjoy some of the best music available via podcast. well done. cheers. You might also like to listen to KEXP's Live Performance Podcast in between Nic's podcasts.
Like to experience new music? Listen to this.
The host of this live music show, Nic Harcourt, doesn't say a whole lot. This is a good thing. Nor does he talk over the music. A variety of musicians are showcased, usually with a single artist per podcast, and with decent fidelity to appreciate the music. The show begins with a brief introduction by Nic followed by a long, live set by the artist. Harcourt breaks the set in half with a five-minute Q&A and lets the artist continue to the end.
Appropriate title, excellent show
Quite simply an excellent show. If you're the sort of person who enjoys new music - bands you've never heard of, bands you've forgotten, bands you discover you could live without - with a range from folk-rock to soul, pop to punk, and lots in-between, Morning Becomes Eclectic is for you. In each podcast, live sets book-end a usually interesting, not-too-long interview. There's great music out there. You'll hear a lot of it on Morning Becomes Eclectic.
