Podcast Description
Previously a realistic cynic (or a cynical realist?), Greg "spinn" Galcik has decided to give optimism a try for a while. Pushing his boundaries and understanding his limitations, he knows he can occasionally be awesome...but how to keep being awesome? (Note: this description is not one of the awesome things, clearly.)

ExplicitEpisode 10: The Last(?) Podcast | Probably not the last podcast, but at least it's the last one my brain is obligating me to make. I really wanted the "last" one to go out with a bang, but turned out it was more of a whimper. | 8/25/10 | Free | View In iTunes |

ExplicitAnd Now, The Lightning Round | After I put together the last podcast, I found myself playing the last bit over and over so I could listen to the music, except this guy's voice kept getting in the way, and I wished he would shut up a minute so I could hear it, and then sayyy wait a minute... This is yet another song I've put together that I think is probably just for me. I can't picture anyone really listening to it more than once except me. But here it is anyway. | 7/31/10 | Free | View In iTunes |

ExplicitEpisode 9: 1/4th of a Spanish Milled Dollar + The Treaty of Ghent + The Treaty of Guadalupe Hidalgo | Greg talks neither about a Spanish milled dollar, nor the Treaty of Ghent, nor the Treaty of Guadalupe Hidalgo. First person to figure it out and send in the solution (showing your work) wins a prize! I don't know what! But it'll be some sort of prize! Music from this one will be available separately on spinnwebe.com in the Discography. | 7/27/10 | Free | View In iTunes |

ExplicitEpisode 8: Bits and Pieces (American version) | Strange tales in a stranger's house with the strangest dog. Eh, that last part's not true, I just liked the parallel structure. The pictures I mentioned in the podcast -- I'll get them up later. | 7/14/10 | Free | View In iTunes |
|

ExplicitEpisode 7: Bits and Pieces | Greg cleverly disguises the topic of the podcast in a bit of fairly transparent English slang, and describes his experience with Chat Roulette one weekend. | 6/27/10 | Free | View In iTunes |

ExplicitEpisode 6: Work Lyrics | Greg talks about work (again) and writes some song lyrics (not again! For the first time!) and shares with the class. I start the thing by saying "this is going to be a shorter podcast" but clearly I lied. MP3 of the song will be available later; you can see the lyrics in the podcast's info. | 6/22/10 | Free | View In iTunes |

ExplicitEpisode 5: Also Friends | Okay, let's finish up the friends topic Greg wussed out on last time. Also: sittin' in a field! Bein' scoped out by possibly attack birds! Becoming an unwilling home for who knows what kind of parasites! | 6/8/10 | Free | View In iTunes |

ExplicitEpisode 4: Friends | Greg risks life and car by talking about friends while driving, then risks sanity and well-being by getting all maudlin about it. Now with 30% more angst! ExplicitEpisode 2: Work | Greg sort of loses it a little in a caffeine-fueled work rant, and reveals his deep-seated anger with easel pads. Not so much awesome as a plea for awesome. | 5/12/10 | Free | View In iTunes |

ExplicitEpisode 1: Origins | In which Greg explores the origins of the podcast, and the origins of himself by talking to his parents. (Did you know the neighborhood kids paid him a quarter to spell "encyclopedia" when he was two years old? Neither did he!! But it's true!!!) | 4/29/10 | Free | View In iTunes |

Lots of fun
This is exactly the podcast I would record if I were to record a podcast, which is pretty useful if you're me. Greg is refreshingly honest, insightful, and entertaining to listen to. I only give it four stars to mess with his head.
My best podcast ever
Of all the podcasts I've ever done, this one is far and away the best. The audio could be better and the content could be more interesting and the logo is kinda so-so, but still, relatively speaking, top of the pile.
Nice!
Very relatable topics. It's nice to see... Well hear that. Overall very nice job and I hope you continue. And the logo is fantastic. Truly awesome.
