Worthy

My criteria for a subscription-worthy knitting-related podcast include good sound quality, little or no music, well-modulated volume (I often listen at bedtime), complete absence of forced hilarity, and at least mildly interesting knitting or other fiber-related topics. This podcast fits the bill and does a bit more to hold my interest. The mother-daughter dynamic is unique among knitting podcasts; as an outsider observing it I sometimes feel the daughter is monopolizing the discussion and now and then she strikes me as insolent. I am intrigued by the obvious closeness of their relationship and the role knitting plays in it.

Enjoy it but.......

While I do enjoy listening, Jasmine's constant interrupting to talk more about herself is getting a bit annoying. And yes, we all now know how pink your hair is. We've heard it over and over. Stick to the knitting talk and let your mom talk a bit more.

"Excuse me for talking while you interrupt. "

That was a quote from my 8th grade teacher who drummed things like manners and social skills into our heads.

Jasmine drives me bonkers with her interruptions and speeding her mother's story along. Gigi, I always root for you to be able to finish a thought on your own. I love it when Gigi talks about couture finishing technique or traditional ways of crafting or construction.

I tried many episodes and even paid for the app--total waste.

Jasmine is a preachy hostess--if you need that in your day, you found your podcast.
