ExplicitKritzKast #168: Naughty Crocodile | Donrsquo;t be confused and frightened by the Image you see before you. If you listen to episode, not only will it become clear, But it will also change the way you look at UGC forever. Speaking UGC check out their new shiny medals for highlander Season 6. While your at it, Check out the latest Community item to get into the game, the Front Runner. Or what about the cross over items with SMNC: the Triclops and Flamingo Kid. Wow, there are so many new items in this week it almost seems like that would be the whole show.....Not a chance. You see this could be the week that we get our first glance at steam cards. An image has appeared (claiming to be from a Gamestop employee) of a $50 Steam card. Just imagine the possibilities. No longer would in game items be available to those Just with a credit card. In the meantime, Why not have a look at the Vod for the Latest round of KLOC? As always, madness seemed to be a key factor in how the games played out. Plus UGC Highlander Season 7 sign ups are now open, head on over to UGCLeague.com to sign up now. If that wasnrsquo;t enough for you, wersquo;ve also got not 1, But 2 videos wersquo;d like you to see. The first, a piece of out of game animation entitled Team fortress 2: Origin. The second is the infamous Star using possibly the worst combination of items (as rusky put it) and making them work.........really well. Plus wersquo;ve got an amazing wood burn image of TF2 (see above), A list of people who want to do nothing more than give stuff away for free, The Lo-Fi Longwave making it way into Gmod 13 and 3 very intriguing emails. How do we manage to fit it all into one show? No seriously, Somebody explain this to me. | 5/17/12 | Free | View In iTunes |

ExplicitKritzKast #167: An Apple a day keeps the medic away | Brace yourself people. This isnrsquo;t your normal episode of kritzkast. This is an extra long bumper edition. Some would ask why. When yoursquo;ve got wm from Ozfortress, we donrsquo;t like skipping over things. Besides the latest community item, the Fruit Shoot, valve also added a nice selection of hidden gems. Starting with Valve Store Shipment Box, an item that does nothing and was ripped out of the game moments after it was added. But also a whole pile of code referencing sounds files that donrsquo;t yet exsist. Doesnrsquo;t seem intresting, until you mention the words MvM and giant robots. Keep your eyes pealed lady and gentlemen, this could get intresting. If that wasnrsquo;t enough for you, We also want to reveal the true nature of the medic. An article on our website looks at the way the medic behaves both in game and in personality. Is there a connection? Have a read and find out. Then we take a trip around the world. From South africa we have Gamers United Cup over at 16Bittf, If you fancy winning some Dota 2 beta keys, its worth taking a look. In the UK, i45, The largest Lan in the UK (arguably europe) has just come to a close. Catch up on all the action over at vanillatv.org. Then we wisk you all the way over to Ozfortress to talk about their new Training wheels scheme. Trying to find a way to improve your skills in TF2? This might be a place you want to visit. Special thanks to everybody who emailed us this week, some fantastic emails sparking some great chats this week.....not to mention our player of the week nominated by wm himself. want to find out why, Check out this video. | 5/8/12 | Free | View In iTunes |

ExplicitKritzKast #166: The Cake is a Sandvich | How can we describe this weeks events in TF2? Revealing, Exciting, Enlightening or even Tasty? Actually we can sort of us all of those words. It starts with the Toss-Proof Towel, the latest community item to be added into the game. Also added in were three new strange parts (although one of them is currently unobtainable). Then as you venture outside of the update you realize how revealing valve has been this week. Letting us have look at how their office works, Valve have released with Employee handbook. Not only that, But they have also shown us a glimpse into what may be in store for the Meet the Pyro video. Where did this imagery come from? Check out the new portal video and look in the bottom left about a minute or so in. The Exciting parts comes in when We talk about the Mixup Up match 4. Which had just finished when we recorded, although yoursquo;ll have to wait a little while before yoursquo;ll be able to watch it. However you wonrsquo;t have to wait to catch up with the KLOC event happening over at sandvichfort. OH and of course Kritzkast Distinguished Ducks making it into Div2 of ETF2Lrsquo;s Highlander league.....not to blow our own trumpets. As for Enlightening and Tasty, feat your eyes on these 2 videos. 1 giving you a run down of all of TF2rsquo;s lore in 60 seconds and the other of a step by step guide to making a TF2 sandvich cake. Add in your emails and suddenly this become a very packed show. Enjoy. | 5/3/12 | Free | View In iTunes |

ExplicitKritzKast #165: The best of the best of the best | Team Fortress 2 updates are like busses; you wait for a few weeks for one to show up then two come along at once. It would have been easier to walk. Valve wish us to celebrate a free to play game, CrimeCraftnbsp;by offering upnbsp;Texas Half-Pantsnbsp;and anbsp;Bolt Action Blitzernbsp;if you manage to survive 6 levels of this uninspired game.nbsp;Strange partsnbsp;becomenbsp;removable and we mourn the loss of the dispenser's ability to retain your overheal. The engie-nurf continues with buildings now granting medics charge is destroyed with theirnbsp;Uuml;bersaw.nbsp; At least the engie gets to wear thenbsp;Teufort Tooth Kickernbsp;if you really want to cowboy him up. Currently unobtainable, thenbsp;Mysterious Promo 2 bundle, containing only the Flare Gunnbsp;is added. What can that be? If you don't know, you're in good company. Wireplay drop their long running 6v6 tournament in favour of a Highlander league. Their last season of 6v6 was plagued with team drop outs. Lets hope this new direction pays dividends for them. KritzKast Distinguished Ducks have signed up already. To top it all off we have your emails and a couple of movies from the best of the best in 6v6 TF2, Epsilon Esports and coverage of i43. | 4/25/12 | Free | View In iTunes |

ExplicitKritzKast #164: Hey Arnold! | This week we have Arnold, nbsp;the creator of Gullywash*nbsp;-nbsp;the most recent community map to be officially made part of the game. He'll share with us details of his new masterpiece map, cp_croissant, plus how it's become the center of attention on the competitive scene. *To thank him more than we can, Go and buy yourself a cp_gullywash Map Stamp from the in-game store. The Steambox might be back on the table again. Valve are advertising for hardware engineers. That's right, the software guys are looking for hardware people to join the team. Bundle that with Tim Cook (Apple CEO) dropping by Valve Software and you have yourself a very curious puzzle indeed Some Ozzi nutter had bet $1000nbsp;on the outcome of a single game of MGE TF2 just so he could meet someone. Reddit Round Robin have entered their fourthnbsp;iteration. Watch your fill of the matches here. Lastly, A video that you all need to see. With audio borrowed from the late great Charlie Chaplin, mixed with video and graphics from our favourite game. It must be Dictator, By Shwiggan. | 4/17/12 | Free | View In iTunes |

ExplicitKritzKast #163: Community Hugs and Plugs | Valve may be on holiday, But that doesn't stop us. It sure as hell doesn't stop the community. So instead of talking about all the updates that happened this week, We've brought Comedian from Vanilatf2 along for the ride. Our first stop was talking about how Guild Wars 2 has taken a leaf out of TF2's book while creating it new classes. Besides crediting Arena-net for this choice, It also makes us realize how influential this 4 year old game still is. Coming from the video creating mind that are MisterMild and Maxofs2D, We have 2 videos that are simply must see. KIA a short film about the relationship the heavy and medic have. Plus the short, sweet and highly humorousnbsp;Shakespearean Medic. Check them both out on our YouTube channel. While valve have been on the down low, The competitive side of TF2 has been roaring with excitement. As ETF2L's Season 11 comes to a climactic final, their second highlander season kicks off. Now with bigger prizes (even for the viewers). Speaking of prizes, Angels cup, is offering not only euro;750 for the winners, But also $300 for the best bug report on the unfinished map CP_Croissant. To add to all that, we've got VanillaTV's Frag movies of the month and the latest news about past and future KLOC events. Top that off with 3 discussion starting emails, suddenly a bland week in TF2, turns into a full week. | 4/11/12 | Free | View In iTunes |

ExplicitKritzKast #162: STAR saws | #160; When we get guests on the show it's a real gamble. Sometimes they are quiet as a mouse, other times we can't shut them up. This time we had on STAR, the guy from YouTube, and the gamble paid off. He's got just the right mix of sarcasm and wit that mixed really well with the regulars. It probably helps that he's actually talented, this week's cover art having been ripped from his work on deviantArt. All that was said with a straight face. Important to note because not everything that happened this week should be taken at face value. We aired on April 1st and as usual the internet was full of troll. More than a little came from the TF2 Wiki. It started with anbsp;Circular Circlesaw for Ricochet 2, continued with a fake hint at Half Life 3nbsp;in the form of thenbsp;Heartwarming Headachenbsp;and finished up with possibly the best "item we'll never get", thenbsp;Crocketeer's Cloak. Surprisingly, Valve decided to avoid the whole joke update and instead gave us 3 hats. Thenbsp;Dueler, thenbsp;Philatelernbsp;and thenbsp;Gifting_Man_From_Gifting_Land. All of which exist for just one day on each head they land, then move on to the next person (to have spent a great deal of money on the store). We also have an instant of anti-troll onnbsp;cp_gullywash_final1nbsp;where a ladder that looks like it should have been climbable has been removed. Or as the April Fool's wiki would have us believe, it hasn't. Lastly we have news of the TF2 Mix-up event so far making OVER 9000!! dollars for Child's Play Charity, a discussion on this year's Saxxy Awards and ranking for servers. | 4/6/12 | Free | View In iTunes |

ExplicitKritzKast #161: Let Me Show You My Strange Parts | Go on, Show us your Strange Parts. By that I of course mean the strange parts that you can now add onto your Strange weapons. Such Strange weapons as the Sapper and Construction PDA. Yep, they both have strange version now available in creates. But to implement it, Valve added a Sapper and PDA slot to the Spy and Engie. Could this be the start of new types of weapons? While yoursquo;re pondering that question, Take a look at the new Items Making their way into the game this week. The Waxy Wayfinder for the Pyro, and the Scrap Pack for the Medic and Pyro. Want to get hold of them both? One you can by in the store, One is a promo item. Find out which is which in the show. However, the Big new this week is the finals of the South African KLOC event, hosted by 16BitTF. Agro even casted the finals with greaver and comedian. Take a look, Its one hell of a game. Just like the TF2-Mixup will be. I know we talked about it last week, but please take a look at it. Not only is it giving money to a very worthwhile charity, But itrsquo;s also your chance to play with an amazing group of people. Then we have a story for you all. Listen to the show for all the details, But lets just say it involves cookies, Saxton hale and Broken merchandise from valve.......and a recipe for Superglue. | 3/29/12 | Free | View In iTunes |

ExplicitKritzKast #160: Hacking for hats and long quickies | The TF2 Mix-up website was launched this week. Featuring Robin walker, Notch, Freddie Wong, Nathan Purkeypile (Bethesda), Yogscast, Brian Brushwood, Veronica Belmont, CaptainSparklez and so many others. There are more of our gaming heroes on the match roster than Gabe Newell could recruit in a week of headhunting, probably. Despite this therersquo;s still three slots left, to be filled by you. We tell you how on this weekrsquo;s show. TF2rsquo;s Beta gets an update. In the long tradition of beta updates this basically means a bunch of fresh new nurfs for you to cope with. Thenbsp;Enforcer is slower to fire and trading now impossible. Back in the real game, Sniper gets a leather backpack, the Cozy Camper, complete with dangling p**s jar and koala. Soliderrsquo;s buff/rage meters are fixed and Pyrorsquo;s Phlogistinator gets a couple of nerfs. Whom ever guessed ldquo;QR coderdquo; as the language for ldquo;Updating localization filesrdquo;, take a drink. Steam Powered User Forums ( or SPUF for short) finally have their own subsection just for the competitive players. This was largely the result of Ashkan, our player of the week, buiding a solid presentation to put before the Valve lot. Well done mate, though Extine pushing the point home canrsquo;t have harmed either. As for the quickies, we make a good shot at them being the longies: Ruskeydoo reports on a worrying trend of item makersrsquo; accounts being hacked to get at their self-made hats Our Steam friend Lucky Luke shows us how your friends list now has a search bar Tempest talks to mnemosynaut about his recent contributions to the game Collection packs are added to Steam Workshop rubixRandomHero creates some cute knitted TF2 friends | 3/21/12 | Free | View In iTunes |

ExplicitKritzKast #159: This is a Nine Pipe Problem | We have a problem. Its one of those problems that can't be solved instantly. We need to smoke a pipe to figure this one out. luckily for us, a new item entered TF2 this week that lets us solve problems by smoking nine pipes. unluckily for us, that will surly kill us. Until then, we can all play a game of bomberman. Thanks to Mecha the Slags newest server mod, We can all do so while playing TF2. His new server mod lets you play a Demoman based bomberman. If you fancy playing it, Head over to the server here. Meanwhile, this has also been the week of GDC, the Game Developers Conference. Last week we said that the steambox might make an appearance here. While yet to raise its console based head, nbsp;Doug Lombardi made a statement on its possible existence that makes us scratch our chin even more than before. If that doesn't interest you, then Maybe Joe Ludwig's seminar about turning games FTP is the things for you. He explains why and how TF2 start to quadruple its profit by giving it away for free. Maybe that's the reason that Gabe is now officially the 864th richest person in the world. Then to top it all off, we talk about how Laro Laro (the hardest working TF2 modeler) has been invited over to valve to meet the team. Plus your emails This week have been fantastic. Not only did we get a great piece of artwork (see above) But your emails spawned the new hit song.....Llama golfer. | 3/16/12 | Free | View In iTunes |

ExplicitKritzKast #158: Lo-Fi World Tour | Well this was a week. We thought we'd seen it all, but we are always surprised by some of the things that manage to find their way onto the show. This week the big thing is simply a rumor. We could be talking about something that will never happen. But when that this is a steam console, its worth talking about. Plus with Valves track record, it would not be a huge leap of the imagination that this information was leaked out. If we can drag you back to reality for just a moment. Valve gave us a couple of things to talk about this week. The patch was all about the Teufort Tooth kicker. The boots that make you look more handsome that a cowboy wrestling a pig. Not only that, but valve blogged about a great web comic that you all need to read....yes even you Timmy. Maybe the biggest news is that the Kritzkast Lo-Fi Offclass Cup is going to be held in both South Afica and Asia. We always love it when different groups want to play with our ideas and make them their own. We love it even more when small or starting groups of gamers use it as a way to increase the number of people playing team fortress. With stunning posters from both 16bittf and Sandvichfort, we are hoping that people will have as much fun with the cups as we do watching them. Speaking of watching things, This week could almost be called the video of awesome videos. There were 3 wanted to talk about on the show this week. One of them taught you how to use the TF2 wiki. Yes we know. you might already know how to use it. but please check it out, its fantastic. The next is from Maxofs2d and is a trailer for his highly anticipated Earthbound Fortress 2 series. I hope it's as good as the trailer makes it look. The last one is really a thank you from last week's guest Dusty Old Roses. Want to see what we are like in public, this gives you a fairly good idea. | 3/8/12 | Free | View In iTunes |

ExplicitKritzKast #157: The beard of Gabe | Female voice actress extraordinairenbsp;DustyOldRoses joins us this week to talk about her work on the female voices of Scout, Spy and Engineer. Crate 34 is destroyed and 39 takes its place with the super brightnbsp;A Mann's Mint and After Eight paints as possible contents. Thenbsp;Reggaelatornbsp;gets 3 styles and the scout gets a new outfit, the Fast Learner. NECA are making offical valve toys, showcased at ldquo;2012 Toy Industry Association Toy Fairrdquo;, where someone stole the Demoman's head, oh the irony. Speaking of the Scout; Nate, the original voice actor says he'll do scout skits if he can get 100K subscribers. Dr. Grordbortsrsquo;s Medic and Scout Weapon packs are revealed: nbsp; Just remember this, Tempest and Chronos had beards before Gabe made them sexy. | 3/2/12 | Free | View In iTunes |

ExplicitKritzKast #156: NSFW | What would you give to the player you love? A hat maybe? A map? Or how about a peice of coal crushed under the weight of the earth for hundreds of years? valve seems to think the last one, sometimes known as a "diamond". Actually, Valve think that a digital one is a much better idea. But for $100 do you agree? But if a Ring is not the TF2 Item you're looking for, then fear not. We (and by we i mean valve) also have an eye patch to Snapped Pupil to hide those unsightly vision issues. We (still valve) also have a brand new fancy knife for you to play with. All you need to do to obtain Black Rose is Play a game of Alliance of Valiant Arms. Once you've done so, you'll see this item magically apear in your backpack, However, bewear, you may also find other things on your PC. That not the only thing to worry about. We have got the results back from Gabe about the damage done by the hack at Valve. It turns out that some usernames, emails and enypted card details were stolen. But only from 2004-2008. So if your the type of person chances passwords and emails, you have no need to worry. If you are not, then now is the time to start, But if your not one of those item hungry people, then may we intrest you in an Experimental Highlander cup? No...how about a final in an Experimental highlander cup? I thought you might like the sound of that.If you fancy checking it out, Vanilla TV did some fantastic coverage of it. So why is the episode called NSFW you ask. When we start to talk about Team Fortress Pirates, nbsp; TF2 Porn, A Meet the Pyro comic that will stick in your head for days, and start mulling though your emails.....the episode starts to....well, you'll see. | 2/22/12 | Free | View In iTunes |

ExplicitKritzKast #155: We need a montage | We're going to need a montage to get through all the content this week. To start with Ruskeydoo has joined our ranks as a full-time presenter on the show. \o/nbsp; Dr. Grordbort is testing the water with two new packs for Scout and Medic. Though nothing is set in stone, Weta are asking you to vote for which you want, or don't want. Regardless of how much you may not want the Scout to get anything new, Valve have gone and ponyed up a for a boombox that plays 4 different thumping taunt tracks. Speaking of ill tunes, the latest offering from the TF2 Jump guys has a sound track you're going love if you have any soul left. Hell, we even named the creator as player of the week! Ruskeydoo has been with us less than a week and he's already moonlighting for UGC in the 3rd Communities vs Pros event. I think he may still be playing that match in his head. No mind, we've got plenty of TF2 fixes and updatesnbsp;to keep us entertained. Everything from the Soda Popper to the Hero's tail has either been tweaked or, in the case of items such as thenbsp;Dashin' Hashshashin and Nanobalaclava, made paintable. The e-mail bag is all about items and trading. Droogie kicks off the trading discussion so we chat about the fabled TF2 Spreadsheetnbsp;before Moregun Freeman gets moves us on to TF2 Raffle. Finally Stephen Merchant gives us all something to think about. Well, he gives the Heavy 4billion combinations of things to think about. #160; | 2/15/12 | Free | View In iTunes |

ExplicitKritzKast #154: Coming Soon | This week Valve has given us a glance into what they are planning for the rest of the year. When i say glance, i really do mean just a glance. Their biggest piece of news is that they are working on something big, but they can't tell us what. The rumor mill is full of potential projects it could be. Not only do we go through some of the most common one, we also talk about how they have confirmed that this will be the year we will finally have meet the Pyro in our hands, More Saxxy awards and big things happening in the workshop. But that's all what valve are planning on doing in the coming year. This week however, they still managed to put out an update, featuring a brand new user created item The Conquistador. But if you want some new items right now, You might consider Pre-ordering Jagged Alliance. If you do, you'll get the Battle Bob, Bushman's Boonie and the Merc Medal. Don't forget to mark your calendars for this coming Saturday. That will be when the Communities vs Pros III event will be going live. If you want to get any details or watch it live, EOReailty is the place to look. In the mean time, why not get hold of the new Steam mobile apps we talked about last week. Whats new you ask? This week is open and free for all to try. | 2/8/12 | Free | View In iTunes |

ExplicitKritzKast #153: My Phone is Steaming | This is the week that steam took a huge leap into the mobile market. This week Steam launched a beta version of its app for Iphone and Android. We managed to get our way into the beta to be able to tell you all the features coming your way. Steam chat, steam groups and even player profiles all accessible while on the move. We even has a 45minute video demonstrating it all. But valve didn't stop there. They also patched TF2, adding in a new community made item, nbsp;Aladdin's Private Reserve. But it was in the Beta version of TF2 that the big changes happened. Both the heavy and the spy get nerfs that don't have people calling out injustice, but actually smiling with intrigue. Then you've got gamingheads taking pre-orders for the medic statue. Yes we talked about the statue before, but now you can actually get hold of one, instead of just pining over valve copy. Announced this week was the official line up for the next Communities vs Pro event. The apply named Cold War, will be happening on February the 11th. If you want to watch it live, just head over to eoreality.net/events | 1/31/12 | Free | View In iTunes |

ExplicitKritzKast #152: Dr. Grobotnik wears a Lo-Fi? | We have been flooded with items in TF2 promoting a new pre-release on steam. Actually, when I say flooded what I really mean is we've got three of them. Two helmets and a badge are available in genuine quality if you wish to pre-order the upcoming RPG Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning. The TF2Maps.net item we mentioned last week has finally been placed into the game. The Mappers Medallion is now not only in the game, but up for grabs for the winners of their latest contest, any previous winners and if the stories prove to be true everyone who entered the Artpass contest. That's a bucket load of winners. Meanwhile, over in the world of eXtelevision, eXtine has started his own Video show about the state of the game and the US competitive scene. He's managed to take the considerable feedback henbsp;received from his first green-screen experimentnbsp;and made this second episode intonbsp;something very interesting. The still as-yet untitled, "Show with no name" is well worth checking out. The TF2CSA (Competitive South Africa) currently have sign ups open for their first, foundry Cup. The odds of winning are still pretty good, so if your ping to this corner of the world is low enough sign up for fame and glory. It seems like this show is all about competitions and prizes. Facepunch are hosting a series of quick drawnbsp;moddingnbsp;competitions. In this first one they asked teams of two (see link for random team names) people to make an item for TF2 in the theme of "Retro futureistic". If steam punk is your thing keep tabs on this site. ExplicitKritzKast interviews MaxOfS2D | The best way to describe MaxOfS2D is a prolific animator. He has taken Earthbound, a cherished Japanese SuperNES role playing game and remoulded it. He uses characters we recognise from Team Fortress 2, a game he loves now, to breath life back into this '94 title. In the space of a just over a yearnbsp;MaxOfS2D's YouTubenbsp;site has seen well over 50 animations. He seemingly posts everything that comes into his mind; ranging from concept tests, to "how-to use 3ds Max" (his weapon of choice), nbsp;to random moments captured in GMod, all the way through to a dancing ladynbsp;succubusnbsp;pyro. We asked you at thenbsp;beginningnbsp;of 2012 to come up with questions for Max and you certainly obliged us. We had more than 160 entrants, most of which were polite enough to speak aloud. We took 20 of the best (one was edited out) and put them to Max in this interview. Our thanks tonbsp;everyonenbsp;who entered, the 20 finalists bagging themselves a KritzKast Lo-Fi Longwave hat. | 1/23/12 | Free | View In iTunes |

ExplicitKritzKast #151: Duck tape king VS Fortress of Oz | This week we all got up at 6am to do this extra long episode. Actually, only one of us did that. WM from Oz fortress fame, joined us this week. Not only is he a great person to talk to, he is also the best person to talk about not only Oz Fortress, But the Kritzkast Lo-Fi Offclass Cup too. Yes that's right, Another chance for people to win a Lo-Fi Longwave, if you live in the Australasia. But lucky for him (and us) There is still a lot more to talk about this week. Valve must have returned to the office after the holiday break, because this weeks update has been cleaning up after the christmas update. To celebrate this we let Sic Semper loose on our blog to point a few things out to Valve. We also wanted to make you guys aware of an update to the white list generator, that lets you have multiple presets and a shiny search bar. Then we have our last time, the TF2Maps.net are hosting their latest Map making Contest. The Dynamic Payload Contest. This one is going to be good. | 1/18/12 | Free | View In iTunes |

ExplicitKritzKast #150: Dear Princess Celestia | The Magnificent 2012 Lo-Fi Give-away ended right before this week's show was recorded so we were all still glowing with internal philanthpist light. That was until we discovered exactly how many Saxton gifts our player of the week had given out. For the record, it is a long way over 9000! The good news for those seeking to wear shorts or thongs is that Valve has decided that winter is over already. As such they have called back all the Winter Crates, but as our guest host Ruskeydoo found out, they've not been replaced with normal crates. I sense an update to the update soon. In the meantime we have a couple of YouTube videos for you. The Booty O'Saxton Hale!nbsp;tells a Demoman's story though in-game footage, a Machinima style little used with TF2 given the options of SourceFX and Gmod. The second video is 51 seconds of frags in the Super 8 style of early colour cinema with a strolling sound track. Ain't no Sunshine - Murder has never sounded so relaxed. The geek art of CGHUB artist, SLiD3, depicts the cast of TF2 as super-deformed miniture characters and lends our conversation to making a collectable series of toys. Finally John Patrick Lowrie is cornered at MagFest2012 and made to read a letter from Red Sniper to MLP's Princess Celestia. While we've got Ruskeydoo here we weren't going to get away with not talking about the new UGC seasons and Wireplay Team Fortress 2 6v6 League (Season 10). We're fine with this as we have our own Cup to talk about. KritzKast has teamed up with OzFortress to bring you OzFortress Presents: KritzKast Lo-Fi Offclass Cup or OPKLOC for short. The letters section is brings us news of an excellent TF2 webcomic; #60;#60;IFA#62;#62;Rickbobby's impressive generosity and involvement in Community vs Pros; and the fake Sentry update. Brought to you by the same guy who created the fake Guard Dog update. | 1/13/12 | Free | View In iTunes |

ExplicitKritzKast #149: New Year Propositions | Happy New Year everybody! This is our first episode of 2012, recorded on new years day. It may be 2012, but we still have to deal with the last events of 2011. There was a second update before christmas we didn't get a chance to examine last time. So we take the time now to chat about Saxton's Own Spirit of Givingnbsp;and how special it is to us [edit: and KatieKillz too, apparently]nbsp;. Not to mention all the festive gifts and treats valve has shared with us. If you're thinking some of them look verynbsp;familiar you may have seen Hideous' Weekly Warehouse on our blog. But not only have they thrust more festive treats into our hands, they have also added in a very special item, for a very special someone ..... we just have no ides who it is. ExplicitAustralian Kritzmas | Its that time of year again. Where the kritzmas spirit takes over. Although we won't have a live episode on this day, we do have a gift for all of you. ExplicitKritzKast #148: Less QQ more Pew Pew | Smissmas comes but once a year. For that at least we are very grateful since there's a hell of a lot to get through. Luckily we have Shibby2142 on hand to take us through the Engine Brainiac Pack, the Pyro Moonman Pack and the new map, cp_foundry. His expertnbsp;guidancenbsp;also comes in handy when we look at the three special weapons; the Wrap Assassin, the Spy-cicle and the Holiday Punch. Although credits for understanding exactly how awesome the last can be have got to go to our player of the week SirKemper1 and his punch/taunt kill combo. Finally we discovernbsp;thenbsp;true meaning of Australian Christmas and are invited to read the Smissmas Story, as published in The Badlands Holiday Reader. | 12/22/11 | Free | View In iTunes |

ExplicitKritzKast #147: Business Spy | When you have Eric Ruth on the hosts lists you can be sure you're not going to get one of the sneaky little Spies who hangs around inconspicuously back stabbing passers by. No, you're going to get the gun toting, shoot um in the face, killing machine kinda guy or as he calls them Business Spy. Didn't he pick his days to come visit. Smismass is just round the corner and Valve is taking no s**t from TF2 servers running fake bots. Thenbsp;Lithuaniansnbsp;have their Pub vs Pros match just as IDK/Ne announce their Christmas Cupnbsp;for complete newbies and Communities vs Pros IIInbsp;look for players to sign up. Mecha the Slag is making his own twisted version of Christmas using models by MaxOfS2D (send in your questions for Max a maybe win a Lo-Fi). Check out their messed up version of a snowman. ExplicitKritzKast #146: Pocket full of tangents | Update from valve are like buses. You wait for 1 and then 4 come along all at once. But its ok, you don't need to mull through mountains of content to keep up to date, we do all that for you. We'll tell you about the performance improvements, the fixes, the new crates and even the new voodoo doll. We'll even talk about the latest addition to the web api that lets you buy items for TF2, Directly from the blog....or the wiki...or any other website for that matter. Plus this week something happened in the valve troll department that we simply couldn't ignore. Somebody was spotted wearing a Half Life 3 T-shirt. "Nothing special" i hear you say. But what i were to tell you that it was a valve employee? Fort Team Charlie also launched its donate appeal this week, Can you spare 52 cents? We'll tell you why is you think you can. Right before we talk about the future of Highlander as a professional E-sport Special thanks to joejoe347, our player of the week, for mentioning tf2wh.com and sparking off a huge debate about trust and trading. | 12/7/11 | Free | View In iTunes |

ExplicitKritzKast #145: Kritzcreed | What do Assassins Creed, Dr Who and Notches head have in common? Until this week, nothing. But now, they are all items that reside in TF2. The next question is how do I get these items? That is a little bit more tricky. Maybe it might just drop into your lap, Maybe you have to preorder a game, or maybe you have to develop a world renound indie game and host your own convention.....or maybe all three. But if Exclusive items aren't you thing, how about a game of cards. TF2 magic cards to be exact. We've found a group of people converting all of valve's games into Magic the Gathering cards. Starting with team Fortress 2. Or how about a plushie toy of TF2 characters? We caught up with Threnodi, the creator of a series of TF2 Plushies. She even goes as far as letting people request plushies to be made. Check out some of her works here. While your at it, don't forget to vote for your favorite announcer for best actress in the the Video Game Awards. Yes there certainly seems to be something for everybody in this episode...even an anime video of the scount fighting a heavy....no seriously, check it out. | 11/30/11 | Free | View In iTunes |

ExplicitKritzKast #144: we do Falconry | Kritzkastblackfriday2011......after you listen to the episode, you will know why that is an awesome code. After last week, you'd think we'd still be talking about valve being hacked. but strangely enough, the news this week features nothing about it. Instead people are more excited by the fact that 2 new items have made their way into TF2. Both of which are associated with trine 2. But what if you don't want those items? then make some for valve....for Christmas. In fact valve are asking people to do that this year. So if your a model maker, you know what you must do. Speaking of Christmas, do you know what you want this year? Could it be some of the new Merchandise that's made its way into the valve store?Or maybe you are looking for an awesome mouse replacement. May we heartily recommend the Novint Falcon? We even brought in Renegade (programmer for Novint Falcon in TF2) to explain how it works. And to give you all a fantastic discount. Listen now for money saving deals. Or maybe its the Lithuanian Pub vs Pros that takes your eye. See we even let you know about things we can't be a part of....what with us not being Lithuanian and all. But what we do know is boobs. No please, don't run away. ExplicitKritzKast #143: Let us never speak of this again | This is the week that the unthinkable happened. Steam was compromised. The question rises, our are personal details still safe? We've looked into the details of the hack, How, when and why, to bring you as much information about it as we can. We'll try our best to make you feel safe, but alas, only valve can be the ones to rest our minds fully. For more information please visit this thread. Luckily, the hack isn't the only piece of news this week, or we would be crying all through the show. TF2 also got 3 new promo items directly from Saints row the third. Not to mention a few changes to make thing run smoother. Speaking of running smoother, the Beta also got a good fix this week. bringing it up to date with recently changes to the main game and also testing out new code that should make the game run smoother on older machines. But its not just valve that have been making heads lines this week. ETF2L started its highlander league and agro got to have a quick shoutcast. We also followed eXtine into a comic book store as he picked up the copy of "The Scarface" and had it signed by valve employees Plus this week was the week that teamfortress.tv launched, a new site showcasing some of the best live streams of Pro TF2 players.......and 1 fascinating TF2 podkast. Lastly, we couldn't let the launch of Skyrim pass without mentioning this graphics comparison sent to us from a fan. | 11/15/11 | Free | View In iTunes |

ExplicitKritzKast #142: Mixup bucket ducks | Now that the first and second videos are out Tempest finally gets to wax lyrical about hisnbsp;experiencenbsp;innbsp;thenbsp;match with Notch and Robin Walker. Be sure to visit the official TF2 Mixup sitenbsp;thennbsp;give praise to Salamancer and NVC for their brilliant casting and LuckyLuke for his slick editing. November signals the end of Halloween and her full moon event but not before we give our final verdict on Monoculousnbsp;and Valve put up the high rez art work for all to abuse. Speaking of art in November, there's to be an early signing of The Sacrificenbsp;taking place in Portland, Oregon. This week we'll see the first matches of the ETF2L Highlander League, Both Agro and Chronos will be competing. ExplicitKritzKast #141: 30 percent haunted | BOO! Not the scariest of introductions, but it's hard to be evil when you play Valve games. The Third Annual Scream Fortress kicked in this week, with a new map designed for the holiday period. Don't worry if you haven't had chance to play yet as it doesn't end until 6th November. This gives you plenty of time to ogle the all-seeing eye that is Monoculusnbsp;on Eyeaduct. Even after this Halloween event has died out the effects will live on with a mass of new Halloween items, new unusual effects and new voice linesnbsp;all rising from teh grave every timenbsp;the moon is fullnbsp;again. AWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! Plus, to keep the horror flowing, Valve have given us another comic depicting the origins of Monoculus. Creep under your covers, get out the torch and read it with care. For surely it's too late we cry, "too late!" To include these sheets in the forthcoming comic collections of Dark Horse. This weeks video of the week (no this isn't a new section, its just we really like this video and think it should be viewed by all) shows off what could be done with all the footage valve has made for "meet the videos". Could this video spark valve into kick starting its TF2 TV series project? We also ask ourselves, "why do 30% of TF2 players buy something in the store, when most F2P games only get about 2-3%?" Gabe revealed this amazing stat in a recentnbsp;interview. Maybe we think we know, maybe. Lastly Pat's bloody sacknbsp;concealsnbsp;anbsp;mash-upnbsp;voice clip, HHH's head and icon replacements. ExplicitKritzKast #140: The engineer with two brains | We're joined bynbsp;Eric Ruth, who's pretty much been hooked into the comp scene following his involvement in the 3rdnbsp;TF2Mixup. He's also super excited about Halloween and since the best Valve have to offer so far is a vague promise and last year's Horseless Headless Horseman it's lucky that the Facepunch Emporium have released the Night of the Living Update. While we're on that topic, the KK140 post show this week was with Smashman, NotLU web builder. Valve have been busy with updates and fixes to try and make TF2 stable. They also set the Lo-Fi to be usable in crafting, though why you'd want to craft away one of the most exclusive hats in the game is beyond us. Ozfortress have their sixth winter league grand finalnbsp;this week, with much more to follow in the next couple of months. They've also a battle of the sexes with Male vs Female and the World's first 4v4 KotH event (sneaknbsp;peak at the poster) to round off the year. Asian Fortress is accepting sign ups for their two daynbsp;Highlander-Saxton Hale Halloween event. Eric (Team ERG) and Agro (KritzKast: Distinguished Ducks) face off in the build up to the ETF2L Highlander League, forcing Chronos to pick sides and everyone else to place bets. | 10/26/11 | Free | View In iTunes |

ExplicitKritzKast #139: Nine men, one cup | Mann Co. celebrates their 1st year of sales with a bunch of hats and a some server fixes with inevitably ended up breaking the servers and making the game crash out. Still, as far as Agro isnbsp;concernednbsp;it's all worth while as he now gets to play with thenbsp;Reservenbsp;Shooter. There's much more to the update than items.nbsp;Fortunately we have Ruskydoo, creator of the Hibernating Bear Packnbsp;and our own Lo-Fi Longwave on hand to take us through the new Steam Workshop for item generation. Deep breath, we're nearly there, told you it was a big update. There's a bunch of new customisable objects for you to decorate; a pin, a photo tag, a clan badge and a ruddy great sign on a sticknbsp;(at great personal expense we may add). Gullywash the comp map that's been in pretty much every 6v6 match since the dawn of TF2 time has finally been recognised and included in the game. Also the High-5 taunt we talked about last week is finally here. #160; We let Ruskeydoo loose on Bay Raitt's blog post, discovernbsp;sneaknbsp;peek pictures of the TF2 toys and coo over the Football Manager 2012 and Dungeon Defenders crossover items. Ifnbsp;glimpsesnbsp;of Gullywash are setting your comp blood to boil, there's good news in the form of the ETF2L Highlander who have openednbsp;their doors to sign-ups this week. Epsilon Esports does work for charity in their TF2 marathon and the TF2 Mixup Website is revealed. Last but far from least, we have content from our listeners. Russell Champoux draws our attention to GameMaster's mashup of fan-made tauntsnbsp;an best of all, nbsp;nbsp;Neph becomes player of the week for his relisation of the Lo-Fi Longwave, earning him an in-game one too. | 10/19/11 | Free | View In iTunes |

ExplicitKritzKast #138: To Camelot! | It's all fanfares and clarion calls here. Agro and TF2 both celebrated their birthdays this week and Tempest is riding around in Happy Town too. Less than 24 hours before recording this Tempest was playing in the Mixup Match 3 with a really cool group of people: Robin Walker, Jon Lippincott and Bay Raittnbsp;from Valve, Notch fromnbsp;Mojang, nbsp;Daniel Brynolf from Oxeye, Simon and Lewis fromnbsp;Yogscast, Total Biscuit, Freddie Wong, Eric Ruth, LaroLaro, Torden, nbsp;eXtine as well as some other incredibly lucky pubbers (Miss Meow, Bree, Ensi and Ravidge). If you're not up on what a mixup match is, think of it as a bunch of rag-tag players from all over, playing together for their own entertainment and hopefully yours too. To get a better idea have a look at the Official TF2 MixUp Match website, made by Tempest. In the time between watching MUM2 and MUM3 you may want to get started on the Dark Horse machinima contest for your chance to with a unique real hat (and a signed copy of Thenbsp;Sacrifice). You'll find all the videos we've talked about in the show today on our YouTube channel. ExplicitKritzKast interviews NerfNow | I remember when we first talked about NerfNow. It was back in 2008, a series of 18 pages telling the story of a kidnapped engineer and her heroic rescue. There were very few words in the images. Yet the art was enough to carry the messages of shared struggle, a team banding together, individual battles andnbsp;unrequitednbsp;love. Since those heady days, creator Josue Pereira, has diversified his content into many different games and genres. He now frequently appears, as a tentacle monster, in his own drawings choosing to talk directly with his Nerfers. His core remains true to TF2 so we thought it was about time we gave this purple Brazilian tentacle his own interview. This time we decided to ask our audience for questions to ask Jo. We were expecting a few hundred e-mails. Instead we received over one thousand. Just for having your question read out you'd get a KritzKastnbsp;Lo-Fi Longwave hat (assuming you don't already have one) but for one incredibly lucky winner the prize was to have their question made into a NerfNow comic strip. Congratulations go to I-ninja. Click on the draft picture above to see Jo's final render of his question. Together with I-ninja these 29 other question writers all have a Vintage Longwave heading their way: Draconius, Brian, Loli Desu, Scorpion42, Eduardo, Hyperviper, The HellJack, Adria_Penguin, Joey BoulAtilde;copy;, Michael Duren, Noel, How Xian Yi, Henson Duong, Joreal, Gregarious, Dominic, Clarke, Toby Jones, James, Mystical RK, Robo, Rado, Mike Meeker, Dominion, Insinic, Grimno, quickhakker, Acey, Kolovsky nbsp; Thanks to everyone who submitted questions and special thanks to Jo for both allowing us to talk to him and for providing all this great artwork for our site.nbsp; So long as there is Team Fortress 2 there will be KritzKast. | 10/3/11 | Free | View In iTunes |

ExplicitKritzKast #137: Error 404, update not found | Gee, it sure does seem like no update happened this week, If only that were the case. Valve did a super secret update this week, infact its so secret that valve rolled it back hopeing nobody had seen it. However, that was not the case. Besides the Pyro conscience and a massive pile of hats in the works, this also seems to be the start of customisable textures on items The beta has also been going slightly crazy this week, rewriting the pyros tools and giving them all a purpose. The flamethrower is now for damage, the back burner is for sneaky tactis and the degresser is all about the burn. Meanwhile, The Killer Exclusive has now been made avalible in the US. As long as your willing to purchase the new PC Gamer digital app on steam. but don't worry, if your not in the UK or the US.....hopefully it will be coming to the rest of the world in the next week. This week is also a great week if your into creating things for the community. If you are the kind of person who wants to make your own items for TF2, but have no idea where to start, we have a fantastic Modeling guide to give you a helping hand. But if your the kind of person who likes to watch pollished videos, then Sandviches is the video for you. And as if that wasn't enough we've also got 2 different cups to tell you about. The Ultiduo cup 3 in europe and the My Gaming Edge n a cup in the US. ExplicitKritzKast #136: Punching Valve in the c******s | When Eric allowed us to interview him he must have thought we'd finally leave him in peace but with his game studio due to release Team Fortress Arcade (TFA) to his the virtual shelves this week we forced him to come back on the show to be our guest host.nbsp; What a show it turned out to be! Valve have released a massive update to TF2 beta, not only bringing the client up to date with the full game but also releasing a series of modifications to current weapons. The man behind the voice of the Sniper, John Patrick Lowrie has a written a book. We've spoken about it before on the show but now it's on amazon and all the classes felt they needed to review it too.nbsp; With comments like this one from the Heavy, "Book is heavy so I throw at spy." Even if you don't get to read the book, reading about reading the book is brilliant fun too. We like the guys over at TF2KillCams.com and we love the competition they ran. Agro will certainly never fully be able to cast from his mind the image the winner sent in. EOReality totally came through for us with servers for the Lo-Fi Offclass Cup. The event happened last weekend and the final between Crab People and YoYo Tech can be watched courtesy of VanillaTV. Agro joined Comedian and event organiser, Trent (PubComp) to cast the matches. ExplicitKritzKast #135: Pirates vs Pros | Some updates crash through your rigging and steal your booty, others simply drop by with a chest of doubloons to share among your motley crew. This week we are joined by Nahanni from the lost treasure Apocalypse Gamingnbsp;overseeingnbsp;a little of the latter; recent hats became craftable, the skicky jumper gets a buff and bi-aural people see benefit in the updatenbsp;too. For all the romance of the open seas there's no denying the love Armago24X feels for both TF2 and Skyrim. After that video we can see why. A week without a new hat would be like a parrot without a perch, so we're evernbsp;gratefulnbsp;to the PCGamer lot for allowing us all to play press with the Killer Exclusive. Chronos has been cut adrift this week. Agro caught him playing Pyro in the Community vs Pros Summer Sizzler. If you want to relive his former glories you can watch the first and lastnbsp;volley of VODs on eXtv's TwitchTV channel. And now, I think ye deserve a littlenbsp;explanationnbsp;of all thenbsp;nauticalnbsp;reference this week. In the words of our POTW, Cap'n Stevoisiak:nbsp;Ahoy thar Kritzkast! A bunch o' scallywags, meself included, have released a Pirate language pack fer Steam. Valve 'as said "nay" t' an official release fer some reason we be unable t' comprehend. However, steam trading beta has now gone live so you could always trade him a dog, wait until they've formed an emotional bond, then steal it. Or why not try and get a dog involved in the Lo-Fi Offclass cup for a chance to win a Lo-Fi? Maybe we are taking this dog thing too far. ExplicitKritzKast #133: How to derail a podkast | We like to think that we stay on track each week, but it can be a lot harder than it seems sometimes. This week, is one of those weeks. As well as talking about the important things in the world of TF2, Like the new hat from Tropica, We also ramble on and on about how digital distribution vastly different to brick and mortar stores. Strangely enough we also talk a lot about Bacon and tank tops too. Good job we had some awesome Valve fan films to keep us vaguely on topic. ExplicitKritzKast Live at i43 | On the last weekend of August 2011, Tempest and Agro found themselves in Telford for the UK's largest LAN party: Multiplay Insomnia 43. We walked the floor through row after row after row of computers, finding incredible nuggets ranging from Buffy's massive 37" screen to (46.50) William Hemmens's gorgeous green beast of a machine. With over 2000 participants it wasn't possible to talk to all but everyone we spoke to was having mad fun. We stuck our mic in front of the clans and communities getting in a match break down from Nervous Energy and (50:35) Re#, the low down from Xerxes and Kan (52:42) on UKCS. We followed the party to Quiet PCs Rock Band (18:11) competition stall. Tempest tried his hands at speed building (32:44) a PC at CCLOnline's stall. We had Sasha rip apart CMStorm's brand new keyboards (04:40) to show us what makes them click, or doesn't. (22:00) TehPledge from Team Vertex and Rinta from LagTastic Gaming took us through their i43 battles and together with Comedian from VanillaTV they introduced us to the premier heroes of TF2's eSports: Qun, Greg and Mike from Infused.Tt; DARN (38:08), Mafu and Hymzi from Team Dignitas. We survived the alcohol fueled boat race from inside the cheering crowd. Most importantly, we recorded everything so you could relive the experience for yourself whether you were there or not and maybe convince you, if you weren't sure if you would come to an iSeries event, that you should definitely join us next time. ExplicitKritzKast #130: Mann-Cos Tiger-tronic 500 | Has the world gone mad? We have a barrel load of thing to talk about, but for some bizarre reason, most of it does not have a direct link to TF2. But all of it effects TF2. How can this be? Look at the Steam Beta Trading for example. It effects TF2 in a big way but it's a steam update. Look at CS:GO aswell; effects TF2 in all kinds of ways, yet has nothing to do with TF2. What about the Voice talent site for Mods? The same thing applies there. This is going to be an odd episode to say the least. At least we have an update to mull over as well as a great bunch of guys trying to bridge the gap between Pub and Pro play. ExplicitKritzKast interviews Eric Ruth | Eric Ruth has found fame and fortune of a kind, tearing apart games and rebuilding them in unexpected ways. Somehow his one-man games studio is able to pump out titles at an alarming rate so it was only a matter of time before his attentions turned to Team Fortress 2. KritzKast was lucky enough to chat to him while his title "Team Fortress Arcade" was still in development. If this interview is anything to go by TFA stands to be an excellent experience. Customer Reviews
Clever and Entertaining!
These guys are fun to listen to, and their chemistry is great. Finding content in a first person shooter is always tough, but these guys have the right focus for making a great podcast. The crosstalk might be a pro or a con, depending on your frame of mind, but laughs are laughs, and I had some laugh out loud moments while listening to their show. Keep up the good work!
Coolio
Seems pretty good so far. Could use a little work, but that's the case with nearly everything new. One thing, though: too many people talking at once in quite a few places, that gets a little confusing/annoying. But yeah... I think I'll stay tuned to see where this leads. On a side note... yay first review XD
Great!
