Dilla Tribute Mix

I thoroughly enjoy both mixes and felt that had great merit in the concept and track selections. However, I felt that they didn't feel refined as it is applicable to the turntablism and how the songs fit together. I know these mixes are about the career of Dilla, but I feel that if you guys would examine how Dilla and Frank N Dank approached there live DJ gigs you would find better ways of making them bridge together more cohesively. Also, Madlib did a live joint that had a great many of the Slum and Dilla joints as well as a few of the joints that he dropped on a radio show at Sanimonica College that was pretty dope. He used a few of the breaks and elements that were use in the joints instead of playing the obvious tracks at time. I could see were that could be a problem at times because in certain tracks like "Little Brothers," the track he did with Talib and Mos for "The Hurricane" sound track, he chopped up that Roy Ayers so sick that you probably couldn't tell that he used that unless you are a cratedigger. But you guys are trying to educate the masses about his genius and that could go either way.
