#1207: Washer Fluid Dynamics | This week on Car Talk, cleanliness is next to impossible for Andrew, due to his Subaru's weak rear windshield washer spray. Unfortunately for Andrew, the only thing less productive than the spray may be Tom and Ray's explanation of the cause. Elsewhere, Kate discovered a long gray hair sticking out of her Civic, and is worried she may have a UFO-- that's an Unidentified Furry Object-- living in her exhaust; Joyce is wondering why her mellow, meditation-teaching husband turns into a mix of Mario Andretti and Tony Soprano when he gets behind the wheel; and 14-year-old Matthew is about to learn a valuable Magliozzi lesson about the benefits of doing a lousy job cleaning his parents' car. All this, and lots more, this week on Car Talk. | 2/18/12 | Free | View In iTunes |

#1206: Help Me Blow Up an LTD | This week on Car Talk, DIY filmmaker Seth is preparing to shoot a big scene: a car explosion in the front yard (of his neighbor's house, of course). Seth's hoping Tom and Ray can help minimize the risk of seeing his house go up in smithereens, and his eyebrows getting that old familiar "Acme Dynamite" look. Can our Chief Counsel Hugh Louis Dewey duct tape the guys' mouths before they wade in to litigious waters? Elsewhere, Michael's RAV 4 is whining in the cold weather even louder than Tommy usually does; Ray trips the Bogosity alarm by introducing the "Connecting Rod Stretch Theory" to explain an Explorer's knocking sound; and on Stump the Chumps, did Tom and Ray diagnose the "amorous donkey" noise in Joan's Honda? All this, and lots more, this week on Car Talk. | 2/11/12 | Free | View In iTunes |

What a waste of an hour!
Do not subscribe to this complete waste of an hour. Problems include laughing out loud at work while listening on headphones and wife complaining that I am not working around the house while listening. She wants to know, "Do these guys ever talk about cars? They always seem to be laughing." Don't Drive Like My Brother!
Finally!
Excellent show... funny... insightful... informative... and the puzzler is great. Family friendly show. Glad to see if finally as a podcast. So I guess we can expect to hear... "And don't podcast like my brother!"
I love Car Talk!
These guys are great listening whether you're working out, listening at home or driving. My dad got me hooked many years ago. He used to record the shows on tape. I'd always take a boxful of casettes with me when I drove to/from college 1100 miles from home. They're entertaining and educational. I feel quite confident in my ability to diagnose a bad master cylinder or a worn fan belt... They have some material that is kind of cheesy but the hour is well worth it. It's truly a part of my life. I hope they never retire! Listen in...you won't be disappointed!
