Papa's Basement is a comedy podcast founded in 2007 that chronicles the life of its host, John Papageorgiou (see, the "Papa" in the title isn't a creepy S&M thing!). He and his co-hosts, Eva Kriksciun and Mikael Johnson, alongside an assortment of guest comedians, throw a battery of entirely improvised comedy your way in an effort to win your loyalty and, ultimately, sell you themed merchandise.
*Don't get litigious about the "world's oldest comedy podcast" claim. I put an asterisk.

Ok. First super funny. But truly it’s that guy, Johnson, that makes the show special. He is part funny man, part museum curator, part f@&khead, part knight, part broken mule, part cornbread. His voice makes him sound left handed. Is he?

This podcast is funny as hell, no matter where it takes you. John will make you laugh, make you cringe, and make you laugh again.
Take a listen what have you got to lose?
This was my first listen to the podcast and I was not disappointed, of course when you go into something with no expectations its difficult to disappoint unless you are a group of 7 people all shouting into a Mr Microphone in a crowded Applebees. Anyway thanks to this podcast I will never go to a Walhbergers restaurant, the burgers all contain seven kinds of what....no thank you Donnie, no thank you. I listen to quite a few comedy podcasts and this had me laughing as much as any of them. So if for some reason you take the time to read this review take a listen you won't be disappointed.
