Peaceful Uprising is an organization based in Salt Lake City that is committed to defending a livable future through empowering nonviolent action. Our focus is on challenging the institutional and social status-quo that is at heart of the climate crisis, and promoting sustainable and just alternatives. "Friday Uprising" is our collaboration with local radio station KRCL's longstanding show RadioActive. Every week, hosts from Peaceful Uprising air live interviews with activists, authors, leaders, intellectuals and philosophers on a wide variety of topics relating to social and climate justice.
