Philscast, part of the Philadelphia Sportscast Network, provides free commentary and analysis on all things Philadelphia Phillies. In a sports world where the highlight is king, Philscast aims to go beyond the big plays and break down what's really going on with the team, the fans, and the town. Best of all, you can listen anywhere in the world. All you need is a computer and an internet connection, which you probably have considering you are reading this right now. Philscast is hosted by John Infanti, a die-hard Phillies fan who has lived in the Philadelphia area his whole life. He understands the intricacies of the mind of the Philly fan. Best of all, he would never sign Paul Abbott. There will be new podcasts every few days, and updates will be downloadable to iPods or other devices using new podcasting technology. You can also listen on your desktop computer. Philscast is the best way to stay close to the Phillies when you can't be in Ashburn Alley.

excellent podcast for the greatest fans on earth!

The city of Philadelphia is known for many things, its history, its food, its crime, but most importantly its amazingly dedicated sports fans. We may move away, travel the face of the earth, but once the Eagles, Sixers, Flyers, and Phillies have found their way to your soul, you can never let them go. This podcast is an excellent way for someone who doesnt get much Phillies coverage in their town to stay on top of things. To say that host John Infante is a homer is an understatement, but he is extremely fair and knowledgable (except for his prediction that the Marlins would be nowhere but in the basement of the NL East). If you want to catch up on the best baseball team in the country then subscribe to this podcast, you wont be disappointed. Infante offers many ways that you the listener can get involved and he always provides interesting commentary and debate. Keep up the good work and I'll always tune in.

Great for a Philly transplant

Having moved to the Bay Area a long time ago, it's hard to get in-depth Phillies coverage. That is, until now. Great podcast with insight from someone who watches all the games. This has bumped the Sports Guy from the top of my podcast rotation. Just long/short enough to cover the drive to work.

The Best Baseball Podcast on iTunes

This is easily my favorite baseball related podcast on the net. I am a big Phillies fan and I really enjoy the insite and perspective that host, John Infanti, delivers in each and every episode of Philscast. John is a well spoken, articulate person, (which I cannot say the same for in regards to some other NL East podcasts) and he gives the listeners interesting and entertaining analysis, news, and notes of current Phillies events. Philscast is a wonderful source for nonstop Phils content, which I cannot get enough of. I would reccomend this podcast to Phillies fans everywhere. Let's go Fightin's!
