First off, thank you for taking the time and effort to produce these. I've just listened to the Level 1 - Week 1 Podrunner: Intervals podcast and am looking forward to the upcoming ones For those that would like to know: - The first 2 minutes are an introduction - Next 5 minutes are a warm up - Intervals of 60 seconds fast(er)/90 seconds slow(er) for the next 20 minutes - The last interval is 3 minutes so I guess that's a cool down? The only suggestion I would make is that there's some sort of different sound notification to let you know that you're on the last/cool down interval.

Requests for interval mixes are the most common emails Podrunner gets, so we thought it was worth investing the time and effort to create a separate podcast devoted entirely to interval training. "First Day to 5K," this first series, is intended to getting people who've never run, or who haven't run in a while, to a full 5K in 9 weeks. P:I will also feature series for beginning, intermediate, and experienced levels for 5K, 10K, and half-marathon training, and undoubtedly more! P:I is produced by me (Steve Boyett), and I want to thank DJ Beatsmith, the only DJ to have guest-hosted Podrunner, for hosting and mixing this series. I also want to thank my listeners for making Podrunner the most downloaded workout music in the world, and for making P:I possible. You're the best audience anyone could ask for. P.S.: BPM charts *are* included, on the "info" page that downloads with every mix (press the little "i" in iTunes"), and on the ID3 tags of every mix (the "lyrics" tag -- press the center button on a nano several times while the mix is playing and you'll see it.)
Podrunner: Intervals
I'm a 43 year old overweight female who never thought she would run again. I can't believe I just completed this Level 1 Workout. Wow! It was great! My only suggestion would be to let us know when we are half way through the workout so that those of us pounding the road know when to turn around and head home. Thanks for your hard work!
