Podcast Description

Promoting a preparedness lifestyle to help save lives is our mission! As we move through today’s uncertain times to even tougher times ahead, PRN will continue to offer proactive, preparedness-oriented programming to help you stay informed, get prepared for what’s coming, and most importantly, remain upbeat in an increasingly downbeat world. Listen to podcasts from respected members of the prepper community and invited guests who are talented and skilled in emergency preparedness, food storage, home production, and how to live the preparedness lifestyle. Whether you are a survivalist, prepper, an urban / suburban / rural homesteader, a self-reliant person––or just beginning as a wannabe––the Preparedness Radio Network is for you! PRN is the vision of James Talmage Stevens (aka “Doctor Prepper”), whose book "Making the Best of Basics – Family Preparedness Handbook" has sold more than ¾ million copies worldwide. It is a “must-have” volume for every preparedness library! His mantra, “If you are properly prepared you need not fear!” is the driving force behind PRN. By reading his book and listening regularly to PRN podcasts, you’ll soon learn and become enthusiastic about how family preparedness and living a preparedness lifestyle can give you the power and peace of mind to deal with disasters and emergencies as minor inconveniences when they occur.

Well Rounded

The variety of snows on this network makes it a well rounded approach to preparedness. Good one to subscribe to.

Preparedness Pro

Good Information most of the time, sometimes getting references is difficult to confirm accuracy...takes too much time to get to the point, and a concise introduction to the shows topic at the beginning would be nice. ....but easily resolved with skimming. Would be nice to have callers involved or more guests to help break up her mannerisms that can become annoying.....ie "anyhoo"....."mind you"......the 3-syllable nervous laugh....."folks"......"by all means".....or defense of her health, legal, emails, or people who disagree. Personal issues with readers and writers probably best not shared publicly. I think she has potential which is why I'm posting in hopes that she can take constructive criticism and improve, because she is someone willing to do the work.

Everyone needs to listen!!!!

There is something new to learn everyday. Make it something that could save your life...
