Signal Flow Podcast 35 | Frame of Mind | The last podcast of 2011! I bring you Russian newcomers Frame Of Mind! They've recently been signed to The Third Movement and put out some very cool industrial tracks so I hope you enjoy their set! Here is a little more about them: In 2008 these two guys met at the university of their home town, Tomsk in Siberian Russia. It didn’t take long for them to realize that they were sharing the same love and passion for the hardcore music and their dream to create their own. Max has been producing music since 2004 and Alex was a passionate listener of the style since 2006, from oldschool to industrial. They rapidly improved their skills, thanks to this glacial environment which kept them inside to produce music. Frame of Mind is born in 2010 and even though their roots lay in Russia, they're planning on taking over this world Inspired by artists like Peaky Pounder, N-Vitral and Sandy Warez their sound is the result of three years of hard work to find their own identity and their particular style. They describe their music as “pumping industrial hardcore”. After sending a striking quality demo that surprised Promo with its potential they got signed and immediately started working on their debut album for TTM. Signal Flow Podcast 33 | Angel | Happy Halloween! Welcome to another episode of the Signal Flow podcast! This time around we have a great mix from a fairly new name to the scene. She's had a couple of releases on Teknoform Recordings which have received a lot of support from the big players and have been featured in many of the SF podcasts as well as the Project Hardcore compilation! She's now just released her latest EP on legendary Industrial Strength Records! Here's a little more about Angel: Angel (Angela Mierzwa) hails from Poland. She discovered techno music as a teenager and very quickly fell in love with it. She cites Chris Liebing, Monika Kruse, Jeff Mills, Ben Sims, Richie Hawtin, Lars Klein, DJ Amok and DJ Rush as some of her earliest influences and sources of inspiration. Angel started playing and collecting techno and schranz records after moving to London in 2004 where she discovered its infamous underground free techno parties. In September of that same year she met someone on a train from Paris to London who noticed the bag of records she'd bought in Paris, and they started chatting about music. He told her that he used to run a radio station and that he still had a lot of professional DJ equipment sitting in his office that he would gladly donate to her. Many years of determined work led to Angel's first track “Like That”, which incorporated every element and style she wanted to hear in music: industrial hardcore, schranz and techno. The track very quickly garnered DJ support from some of the biggest names in the hardcore and hard techno scene such as Ophidian, The Outside Agency, The DJ Producer, Day-Mar, Fracture 4, Tymon, Broken Rules and Jason Little. Inspired by all this support she's been in the studio every free moment she can find to continue developing her new-found sound. In 2011 she released her first 4-track EP “Distorted Thinking” on the legendary Industrial Strength Records. Her new EP is available at the following shops: http://www.junodownload.com/products/distorted-thinking/1836183-02/ https://www.beatport.com/release/distorted-thinking/687169 http://itunes.apple.com/us/album/distorted-thinking-ep/id466830403 Follow her at: http://www.facebook.com/AngelTeknoform http://twitter.com/AngelTeknoform http://soundcloud.com/hard-angel | 10/31/11 | Free | View In iTunes |

Signal Flow Podcast 30 | Tense | Up next on the podcast I present to you New York's own, Tense! He's mixed together an insane hardcore set for us, I hope you're ready for this one! Thanks for the continued support and enjoy! Here's a little about DJ Tense: Robert Amar, aka Bobby Tense, has been spinning records for over 15 years with a musical style that has progressed from: hip hop and rap to hardcore and speedcore techno. After first tasting “heavy metal” sounding techno, Tense went on a mission searching the techno stores for this new brutal style of techno that would, in the next few years, control the underground NYC rave scene. Earning a spot ...on the weekly lineup at the legendary Limelight in the early 1990’s, helped the 16 year old DJ – make a name for him self by playing alongside such influential artists as Lenny Dee, Nicky Fingers, Rob Gee, and more. Bobby Tense executes his live and DJ performances with atom splitting precision. He is the Executive Producer of Apocalypse Recordings, and a member of one of the most brutal speedcore groups in the world...Hellz Army Follow him at: http://www.facebook.com/pages/Tense/166924903328847 http://www.apocalypse-recordings.com/ | 8/23/11 | Free | View In iTunes |

Signal Flow Podcast 28 | Sei2ure | We're now at episode 28 of the podcast and I'm very proud to bring you a great mix by Enzyme's Sei2ure! He's put together a great set for us so sit back and enjoy! Here is a little bit about Sei2ure: In 2004 Sei2ure signed with Enzyme Records, and his first track “Pneumatic Transmission” appeared on K7-5 shortly after. He did a few single tracks on various records including some anonymous stuff for Enzyme X. His first EP “Illusion of Safety” was released in 2007 featuring 4 dark, underground industrial tracks immersed in thick layers of distortion. In 2008 Sei2ure teamed up with colleague and friend DJ Synapse for a rework on an obscure piece of music history namely “Dissonant Poetry” by Ophidian. A few months later he did a remix of Endymion’s mainstream-megahit “Payback”. His biggest succes to date came with “Rocket Fuel”. The A1-side of Enzyme K7-8. This track received massive DJ-support at industrial parties worldwide. Once in a while gear is dragged on stage for a liveset with friend and colleague DJ Synapse. Notable gigs were, amongst others: Defqon. 1, Project Hardcore, A Nightmare Outdoor, Thunderdome and Club r_AW. Lately Sei2ure has been active as a DJ too. Sei2ure’s music is raw, mechanical and industrial, usually void of any melody or harmony. The tracks are composed of sounds and rhythms, compelling patterns which can repeat themselves or turn into utter chaos. Besides hardcore, Sei2ure also creates art installations and has been working as a cook for some years. In 2005 Sei2ure finished his BA in Music Composition and Production at the HKU in The Netherlands. Signal Flow Podcast 27 | Moleculez | Up next on the podcast I'm glad to bring you Moleculez! He has recorded a great set for us so please sit back and enjoy! Here is a little bit about him: Moleculez, is a Polish born yet in Germany raised hardcore producer, started making music in the year 1999. He tried to (re)create atmosphere in his tracks similar to the the sound he adored himself: dark as Nordcore and PCP, industrial as Fischkopf, Epiteth or other France based labels. He has been constantly releasing records in the past ten years. Among the victims of his once fast, industrial and lo-fi, now rather slow, industrial and still lo-fi style were Third Movement, Industrial Strength, Symp.tom, and Meta4, just to name a few. In the last years he's concentrated on working and releasing together with artists like Mental Wreckage and The Relic. He's even toured various cities in various countries to distribute his weird understanding of raw, dark and hard music. This set is taken from one of these occasions. Signal Flow Podcast 22 | Carnage and Cluster | We're still kicking off 2011 with some more cool mixes, and this time around we have Dutch duo Carnage and Cluster! They've been releasing some very cool tunes recently on their new label Noisj.nl! So far they've released tracks from artists like The Relic, Mental Wreckage, Moleculez, DJ Freak, and themselves! I hope you enjoy this mix of some pounding industrial tracks! Here's a little more about Carnage and Cluster: Carnage and Cluster started dj-ing in 1999. Influenced by the Promo File series they started to discover down the more industrial / hardtechno side of hardcore. Signal Flow Podcast 21 | Matt Green | It's the 21st episode of the Signal Flow Podcast and it's the first of the year! I hope everyone had a great 2010, now say hello to 2011, and I'm hoping for another great year of the Signal Flow Podcast!! For the 1st podcast of 2011 we have Matt Green! He's put together a sick set for us, so I hope you enjoy this episode! Here is a little bit about Matt Green: Matt Green is a name synonymous to the Corrupt label. Strength and intensity are just a couple of words describing the waves that bleed from Matt Greens' live-sets. Since 1998 Matt Green manages his own label, Corrupt Records. A name now closely linked to the many substyles of hardcore. Ranging from breakbeat (the true origin of breakcore) to speedcore, every Corrupt beat was treated with distortion and an overdose of energy. Next to the long list of Corrupt releases, Matt also had the chance to release several guest EPs on labels like Epileptik and Hong Kong Violence. By the dawn of 2008 Matt decided to make a change and bring Corrupt to an end. Filling the gap with Corrupt Redux - the official sequel to Corrupt exploring the slower tempo, but harsher sounds - Matt is ready for the next move! Signal Flow Podcast 20 | N-Vitral | It's the 20th episode of the Signal Flow Podcast and it's the last one of 2010! It's been a great year for the podcast so I wanted to finish it off with someone special who's been making some super dope music! He's provided us with a really diverse pounding mix and I hope you really enjoy it! So to everyone merry xmas and happy new year!! Signal Flow Podcast will be back in 2011 with more great music! Stay tuned! Here is a little bit about N-Vitral: A live act of hypnotizing beats and a blend of unique patterns, underground vitality is released. On stage N-Vitral is able to heavily interact with his audience. Breaking up and deflecting his music into basic elements, he takes both curious onlooker and respected fan along the path of musical disorder. Influenced by Converter and Autechre, Stefan Busker developed a fresh sound in his own music. Dark atmosphere and a mid-tempo to the point of soundscaping were some of the key ingredients which set his tracks apart from the rest. There is only one N-Vitral and his music proves this, the tracks have an original feel but the titles themselves become a language of their own. N-Vitral's music has received astounding positive feedback from various DJ's and producers from all over the world. Check out his latest album 'I Audioassault U' on The Third Movement! Signal Flow Podcast 14 | Deathmachine | I'm happy to announce the next podcast by Deathmachine from London! He's had some great releases on labels such as Corrupt, Rebelscum, Deathchant, Pacemaker, Industrial Movement, Sadistic, and many more! He's prepared a great mix for us and I hope you enjoy it! Here is a little bit about him: Deathmachine's love for hard dark music started way back in the early 90's where his imagination was captured by the then relatively young hardcore scene. He attended many of the big UK raves over the following years and became addicted to the new sound that had arrived. To further connect with the music, he started DJing in 1998 and over the following years began carving a unique sound for himself. Always dance floor oriented, but with an experimental edge, his sets earned him bookings from all major promoters across the UK. A few years later and now a respected name on the UK DJ circuit, he took it to the next level. In 2001, he began producing, aiming to capture energy and rawness along with the continuing dark vibe. Since then, he has released on some of the worlds most respected industrial hardcore labels such as Deathchant, Rebelscum and Pacemaker. Signal Flow Podcast 13 | The Relic | Now at the 13th episode of the Signal Flow podcast I have Maurice (The Relic) and I'm happy to have him on board as I'm a fan of his productions.....expect some slow dark industrial madness in this set! Here's a little about him: The Relic released his first e.p. on FIX records 17. His second release was a battle with Zanthrax on Underground Society Records 08. Signal Flow Podcast 11 | Richie Gee | On deck for the podcast I present to you Richie Gee from Spain, and he has made a special mix for us consisting of some hard techno/schranz and hardcore! So sit back and relax (if you can) and enjoy this stomper of a set! Here's a little bit about Richie: Madhouse Recordings and Richie Gee have become synonymous to each-other. With over 10 releases out, the label is a blueprint of Richie Gee's musical tastes. Offering a platform to familiar and unfamiliar names, the Madhouse has achieved a status of respect in a short time. After his 2008 'Industrial Resistance' hook-up with IST, sub-label of Industrial Strength, Richie Gee's name was marked in the international scene. Beats have been speeding down the techno industrial crossing ever since. Not a surprise with weaponry like 'Toxic beats Vol. 1', 'No Rules' and the 'Mojitoman' EP to hit speakers. Behind the decks Richie Gee converts his enthusiasm for music straight onto the dance floor with Spanish passion. Like a flamenco dance in a rusted steel-mill, beats can become pretty intense when Richie Gee starts playing. Beware of your limiters when his beats set for impact! Richie Gee is a great addition to any hard techno event, with the Gee-factor culminating any techno sound into twice the intensity. Signal Flow Podcast 10 | Liquid Blasted | For the 10th podcast I present you all the way from Russia, Liquid Blasted! He's prepared a special all vinyl mix for us! He's had lot's of previous releases on labels such as Deathchant, Psychik Genocide, Born Ultraviolent, Hong Kong Violence, plus many more, and his most recent release on IST, which I've been playing alot. Sergey began trying to make music in 1995 – not even having a computer, just with synthesizer and two tape-recorders. Later, with the advent of computer in 1998, he discovered Fast Tracker II, and created music project named Negative. The project covered a variety of styles – from happy hardcore to speedcore, but wasn’t too serious. Nevertheless, it contributed to knowledge of working with sound on computer, forming musical preferences and gaining the experience – and in March, 2003 Sergey decided to start a new project named Liquid Blasted oriented on hard industrial music, such as frenchcore, uptempo, hard techno, industrial, experimental. The first vinyl of the project was released on the new French label Goddess OF Disaster in October, 2003. The record was a success, and the project start getting the offers from other labels. Today Liquid Blasted is the most famous Russian project on the world hardcore / frenchcore scene having a lot of releases on such labels as Industrial Strength, Deathchant, Psychik Genocide, Neurotoxic, Masters Of Hardcore, Megarave, Ravinghome studio Nightmare, Noise Factory, Dual Kore, etc. Liquid Blasted’s discography includes joint releases with such artists as Hellfish, Goetia, Hardcoholics, Matt Green, X-Fly, Gnark. Lately Sergey prefers music at the interfaces between industrial hardcore, hard techno and rhytmic noise. From the end of 2007 he also performs as a DJ, besides live-acting. In the beginning of 2008 Sergey decides to devote himself to computer games sound and starts working as a sound-designer at Gaijin Sound studio. Signal Flow Podcast 07 | Mindustries | Most likely it was a typical Dutch grey and cloudy day when Yuri and Nils met up at high school and started talking music. Sharing similar interests the two soon teamed up to form what was to become Mindustries. With only a computer at their disposal, the tracker scene gave them a broad and extensive creative output. One which they quickly used to its full potential. So when Enzyme Records finally heard their demo back in 2004 the official debut was a fact. Titled ‘Deus ex machina’ Mindustries delivered a set of tracks which resulted in a unique impact into the scene. Difficult to place under a fixed style or genre, the percussion driven experiments displayed a danceable yet dark ambiance. Since then Mindustries has released various EPs and tracks through Enzyme Records. Also producing under the mysterious Enzyme X alias, Mindustries has evolved their music into a rhythmic powerhouse. Hard and distorted, driven by techno energy and an industrial grind. The co-production ‘Forever is a long time coming’ with The Outside Agency opened up the Genosha door to Nils and Yuri. Feeling right at home from the start, work continued on a batch of brand new material. With a dive deep into their studio gear a more mature and finished sound was delivered, the result: 2009’s ‘Born of revelation’ EP featuring four brand new tracks. Marked by a sharper mix and enhanced audio dynamics, their second EP on Genosha Recordings was a fact. Mindustries has evolved their sound ever since, a reflection of their open minded attitude. Mixing the darker industrial sets with the occasional early flashback and acid sidestep, Yuri and Nils are a force in the studio as well as behind the decks. Their typical hardcore sound transforms from speaker to crowd, with a non-stop occupation of loud and clear-cut beats ready to take over. Keeping the experiment flowing, Mindustries can be summed up as true next generation industrialists. Bookings: http://www.ttmbookings.nl | 6/28/10 | Free | View In iTunes |
