A weekly video podcast that features music and insights from indie artists that have performed at the Streaming Cafe. We are a listening room inspired to discover, connect, and promote independent artists and offer a unique platform for performers to interact directly with indie music-lovers. Every Saturday night we showcase live performances by established and up & coming talent from Canada and beyond. These weekly shows are streamed free live online, where viewers anywhere in the world can enjoy direct and personal interaction with the artists via the live chat.

Their 2011 album "Gaia/Goya" features these cover songs along with originals. Their most recent album "It Was Warm and Sunny When We First Set Out" (2011) showcases the band's diversity and range as it sweeps from slow-burning crescendos to sweetly melodic lulls. In this podcast they perform a real crowd pleaser - an unplugged acoustic version of "Untitled New Track" (We called Andrew from In Medias Res to confirm the actual title for this track...But this was it.) | 7 | VideoMa Petite | Australia born Indiana Avent turned her focus to her own music after years of backing artists like Bon Iver, Gotye and Dan Mangan. Her solo project, Ma Petite, put out an EP in 2010 and is schedule to release it's first full length album titled "The Road That Led Me To Fall" in early 2012. In this week's podcast Indiana plays the song "Lonesome" that will be on her soon to be released album. This was their thrid trip to North America. The Little Stevies had recorded an album in Los Angeles on their last visit, and on this trip to the continent they wanted to focus on Canada, so they set up a tour and hit the road to be with us all. With two indepently released full-length albums, Erica's most recent release The Harbor Commission (2009) builds beautifully magical soundscapes that swim from delicate and articulate instrumentals to thundering folk-pop and back again. Erica not only played a beautiful show at the Cafe, but also informed us that there are other instruments in the world besides acoustic guitars and keyboards! | 40 | VideoTreelines | Treelines has been a big favourite of the Cafe with their high energy, party-good-time rock antics and dashing good looks. Coming through the Cafe for round three, they decided to take a stripped down acoustic approach for a more intimate night with their fans. Frontman Matt made sure to apologize to die-hard fans for the lack of high leg kicks - but no one was disappointed! His music reflects his views on modern times, it deciphers between truth and lies - but at no point does it ever misrepresent its maker.
