How Many Ways 2 | How many ways can I say "I love you"? I love you like the middle of the ocean, when you're drowning and your feet touch an island and you see the fog is lifting and you're standing in the sun. How many ways can I say "I love you"? I love you like the middle of the forest when the sun is setting and you feel the air around you and its heavy and you're sinking and you build yourself a fire and you warm up by its light. That's how I love you. How many ways can I say "I love you"? I love you like a falling star two lovers see and hold that light. I love you like a secret you hold onto until the time is right to speak it and you shout it from the mountains so the angels know to sing it. How many ways can I say "I love you"? Like a Stone | The wind across your beer bottle blows a note like a boat off in the thick misty night but all I hear are your words falling slow, like honey. And I've forgotten what you said then but I'll never forget how your hair moved like water and I wanted to touch you; I could feel my fingers behind the curve of your ear. I wanted to make you a gift of a small stone, round and worn smooth like the stone I feel turning within me like a slow undercurrent of you. We stepped down to the cold sand and I wanted to feel your breath on my lips and the salt on your tongue, but I carried the thought like a stone in my pocket. I remember when... The fish in your bucket moves while you talk with your hand in the air. I look at my feet and think to put on my shoes. You throw your line, like David, at the river. We sit and wait as the water moves, white on blue. The sun hot on my head; clear beads slowly descend. I step in the river to get my line free. I trace the taut, thin line, swimming down to the mossy cold As the great birds cross the sky, white on blue. Metal held like a fuse, reaching out to enter the air, Water drops, touch my eyes, and look at you. The trees bend in the windbreak; you look at me and hesitate. Then you slowly rise, embrace the word, and move away, white on blue. The wind across your beer bottle blows a note like a boat off in the thick misty night but all I hear are your words falling slow like honey. The Falling Snow | I smelled the rose and I touched its velvet eye And I raised my hand just to feel it in the sky But I don't feel love Its a long walk home Through the naked trees as they're bending in the falling snow You lit a fire and I watched the embers glow Like a melting sun, like a spark dark long ago And it feels like home But it never was And we burn it down just to feel the scars of love. And we burn it down just to feel the scars of love. I smelled the rose and I touched its velvet eye And I raised my hand just to feel it in the sky But I don't feel love Its a long walk home Through the naked trees as they're bending in the falling snow. And we burn it down just to feel the scars of love. We burn it down. | 12/28/08 | Free | View In iTunes |

Where Birds Will Never Leave | I'm gonna find your sweet spot And I'm gonna play it all night. I'm gonna play it 'til you love me just right. Then I'll let it go. I'm gonna find your sweet spot And I'm gonna play it all night. I'm gonna play it 'til you love me just right. Then I'll let it go. I wanna take you far away Where birds will never leave. I wanna give you what you never had. I wanna give you what you never had. Then let it go. I'm gonna find your sweet spot And I'm gonna play it all night. I'm gonna play it 'til you love me just right. Then I'll let it go. I wanna take you far away Where birds will never leave. I wanna give you what you never had. I wanna give you what you never had. Then let it go. | 11/21/08 | Free | View In iTunes |

Dylanesque in Camden
This tasty track pulls you in right off the bat with the upbeat and rythmical acoustic guitar. A great story with a twist and the characters come to life quickly. Great changes in melody - unexpected as well to go with the ballad. A classic for modern times.
