John Dissed is highly knowledgeable and has a great ear for new rock and punk. Every episode is short and sweet but packed full of new tunes to satisfy even the most discriminating music fan. Get a weekly dose of the Bull Pit and you too will have your finger firmly planted on the pulse of a thriving and truly "underground" scene.
Amazing Rock Podcast
The Bull Pit is a great podcast that plays a wide variety of great rock tunes. The show airs every few days and is about a half hour long. It is hosted by John Dissed, the guitarist of the LA band Bull Lee.
I really like this podcast because it plays great music. Some episodes are devoted to interviews which are always fun to listen to because they are funny; however this show is all about the music they play. The non-interview episodes have some talk, but most of the episode is devoted to great rock songs that you probably never heard before.
I also like this podcast because John Dissed is a great host. He knows a lot about music, and he plays in a band so he brings his own interesting insight of touring and playing shows into his monologues.
All in all, The Bull Pit is a great podcast because they play awesome music and have interesting talks in between to keep you interested.
