Makes me cringe

Certainly provocative, and while I agree with his focus on Christian responsibility and the standard against sin, I thoroughly disagree with his methods and tone - which are quite judgmental. While he blasts certain individuals, I have never heard him admit any of his own flaws or show compassion. I subscribe to many Christian podcasts, and I enjoy being challenged to change to be more like Christ. However, some of the most effective messengers are those who preach from experience -- it usually breeds more compassion.

Intoxicating Conservative Bigot

The Jesse Peterson Radio Show features the ramblings of a racist, sexist, homophobic bigot. In his distorted state of reality, he claims to be uniting the races with truth and frequently calls out such figures as President Obama and Jesse Jackson as being racist, but fails to notice how his 'hard truth' sounds exactly like speeches from a KKK program. It is amazing how incessant his bashing of black people is, especially black women (but really all women). Even when he has a guest on that have nothing to do with race or gender relations, he finds a way to poke in a jab at a minority group. But, that being said, it is intoxicating how ridiculous this guy is. I cannot help but listen to these podcasts in the same way that I cannot help watching Fox “News” commentator Glenn Beck because both men inadvertently provide me with laughs and well-directed anger at these right-winged nutjobs. The best part of the whole show is that, according to his website, Peterson claims to “[leave] his liberal counterpart in knots” during discussions, but his arguments lack any sort of logic and he resorts to spitting out ill-formed statements of nonsense that fail to convince anyone capable of sound reasoning and thought.

Prescription to What Ails Black America

Mr. Peterson stresses the need for moral character not Black pride or government programs as the answer to the social problems facing Black America. Government programs are no match for personal responsibility and accountability to high moral standards.
