| 3 | CleanVideoThe SketchUp Show #63 - Designing Your Dream Golf Hole (Part 2) | We originally made these videos for Golf Digest's 2010 Armchair Architect contest. In Part 2, Mike completes his dream golf hole with bunkers, trees, and a golf cart. Then he exports his SketchUp model into Google Earth to view it in context. Please note that these videos were made with SketchUp 7 because Version 8 was not yet available. The only significant difference is that importing site data is now simpler because SketchUp 8 can import satellite imagery and 3D terrain data without opening Google Earth. To do this, simply use the new "Add Location" tool and grab the location from the Google Maps window that appears. The directions for viewing your completed model in Google Earth are still current. | 12/8/10 | Free | View In iTunes |

Customer Reviews
Much more than I expected
I had just heard about Sketchup as a woodworking design tool when I ran across this podcast. I was hoping to pick up a little about how I could use it to create some simple designs. After watching all the 'casts, I was able to duplicate the designs of my entertainment center and a couple other pieces of furniture, and I've even found myself wanting to create a 3D walkthrough of the house! Excellent work, please keep it up.
Great way to learn
Terrific content for learning about SketchUp...these guys know their stuff and will have you making great models in a very short time!
Excellent and Timely Topics
This series of podcasts is much better than I first expected, and the folks at Go-2-School could charge for them. This series presents instruction on many aspects of SketchUp that I have had trouble with, and gives an interactive show and tell on how to use the program and techniques for realy understanding how it works. The production values are great and the content is outstanding. I look forward to seeing the new podcasts every week. There is always something to learn from these folks. Very well done.
