DZOGCHEN RETREAT TEACHING
Using one of my favorite quotes from Longchenpa to introduce the natural simplicity and perfection of the Dzogchen path, Lama Surya opens the door for the western seeker. The depth of the practice glimpsed in this first podcast is limitless. The access Lama Surya provides is unparalleled. It is obvious that his devotion and understanding of the teachings provide an "ease of access" ramp to the steepest Buddhist path. This opportunity to hear teachings presented in a retreat setting is a rare opportunity and one not to be missed. Although I am quite familiar with his teaching style from past retreats, it never ceases to amaze me. He teaches whoever listens, at their own level of understanding, thereby encouraging all to look deeper at their own spiritual journey. A very auspicious beginning to a hopefully long-running series.
