Podcast Description
"Travelers With Disabilities Having Fun" (TWDHF) is a show based in Chicago, IL and hosted by visually impaired radio personality Beatrice Leonard. During each episode, Beatrice and her Guide Dog Chavez travel to a variety of locations to interview people of interest and explore their surroundings. The destinations could be as local as a visit to the Chicago Symphony Orchestra to interview a featured artist, or as exotic as a cruise through the Caribbean with some close friends. The primary focus of the show is travel and the experiences that can be had on any kind of budget. With her camera crew in hot pursuit, Beatrice travels to the latest event openings, plans family outings, and embarks upon adventures that most might not realize are in their own backyards. The podcast for "Travelers With Disabilities Having Fun" is Beatrice's special online radio show which features additional interviews and exclusive content apart from her regularly scheduled TWDHF television program which is currently in production.
