Clean40 | Getting Things Done Leadership | Earlier today I learned that my friend Carl passed away suddenly last evening. Carl was not a "leader" in the way we too often visualize the term in people like President Barack Obama or GE CEO Jeff Immelt or the Dali Lama to name a few. But Carl always "exercised leadership" at work and in the community and he will be sorely missed by all. In his honor, I decided to replay part one of Kansas Leadership Center CEO Ed O'Malley's interview. Ed talks alot about "exercising leadership" and the importance of making things happen and getting things done. Carl was a guy who always got things done. Ed O'Malley's original interview can be listened to on episodes 22 (Part 1) and 23 (Part 2). Customer Reviews
Great podcast! Left me wanting more!
This review is based on the first of what I hope is a long series. The CEO in the interview series was Peter R. Aceto of ING Direct Canada. The host did a great job of getting Mr. Aceto to open up and share his insights on leadership, work-life balance, and what it means to be a young CEO. Pam Fox Rollin was a great co-host and shared an idea I was able to put to use the next day. They left me eager to hear the second half of the interview with Peter Aceto in the next episode. They've packed a lot of content into the hour, and it's the sort of material geared to make you think. It certainly did for me. They share enough great ideas that each person's takeaways are likely to be different, but I suspect most people will find it's an hour well spent. Congratulation Peter and Pam on what I hope is a long series of podcasts!
Fantastico!
I really enjoyed listening to the perspectives of what leaders are doing out there in the real world. Great podcast! Have downloaded all episodes and listended to them all already, not just once but twice! Can't wait to hear upcoming episodes! I also enjoy listening to the selected song played at the end to top the show off, nice transition. Keep up the great work look forward to more to come. Thank you.
Informative insights!
Pam and Peter do a great job of analyzing trends in leadership and bring us interviews that allow us to understand how great leaders think. The format allows leaders being interviewed to take thier time and expand their thoughts so we gain insight on their though process. No snippets here, good interview questions with analsys at the end. Great show, listen and learn! John
