ExplicitZomcast 55: djent… dwhat? | Beerchop and I are back from our adventures of running gallivanting around the globe (not together). This week we come in with a show about a genera of music that many people don't even think really exists. ExplicitZomcast 54: Movie talk and metal bugs…Beatles to be exact. | Zomcast on a Monday? I know, it's still weird for me to. Actually, this was recorded yesterday, but I just got around to posting it up tonight. Beerchop joins me again this week and we have some rambling discussions about movies and baking bread. We even actually play some music in there too. This week it's cover tunes...metal covers of Beatles songs to be exact. With great influence comes great imitations...I think Batman or somebody said that. Featured bands are Dio/Queensryche, Ghost and Type O Negative ------------------------------------------------------------------- As always, check us out on Facebook and Twitter. ExplicitZomcast 53: Synthesizers in metal? You’re damn right! | Zomcast on a Monday? I know, it's weird for me to. Beerchop checks in as my co-host this week and we play some music with synthesizers in it. I know what your saying to yourself and now we haven't gone soft and we aren't playing Ah-ha or Cutting Crew. Give a listen, lots of metal bands use synths, seriously. Bands featured are The Kovenant, Lacuna Coil and You and What Army. ------------------------------------------------------------------- As always, check us out on Facebook and Twitter. ExplicitZomcast 52: Hot Dog, Prog Metal and Placenta | There I am just hanging out and guess who shows up? Hot Dog! That means it's time to turn on some mics and have pointless discussions about things that don't matter. Some people call this a waste of time, but I call it a hobby! This episode I was inspired to take a little trip through history and the influences of my beloved prog metal...I just love this crap. Oh, and I believe that this just happened to turn into the longest Zomcast to date...we are some chatty bitches. Bands featured are Rush, Queensryche, Dream Theater and Conflicted ------------------------------------------------------------------- As always, check us out on Facebook and Twitter. ExplicitZomcast 51: Beerchop, Germans and stuff gets weird. | I've been threatening to do it for a while and well, I finally got Studio Z set up to be able to have guests call in via Skype. As such, this week I welcome Beerchop as my guest host. We have some history that goes back a few years. It was strange to have a co-host who wasn't in a chair next to me. We had a few technical difficulties, but it's too be expected...turning all this technology over to me is like handing a chip a shotgun and expecting things to go smooth. Enjoy! ------------------------------------------------------------------- As always, check us out on Facebook and Twitter. ExplicitZomcast 50: My top 5 of 2011 | Another magical year has passed us by. Some of it has been good, some it great and some of it just awful...it's called "life". This week it's my top 5 albums of 2011. You'll probably listen to them and tell me I'm full of crap..hey, let me know what your top 5 is. Sure, I didn't play any "hardcore" death metal or anything, but that's what happens when you're closer to 40 than you are to 20 (much closer to 40). Thanks for another year! Enjoy! ------------------------------------------------------------------- As always, check us out on Facebook and Twitter. ExplicitZomcast 49: Roadrage | Hot Dog got tied up so I had to go it solo. I got on a tirade about people driving in the snow...a tirade that I had no idea was even in me until I unleashed the fury. I think I feel a little better now that it's out. Bands featured this week are Iced Earth, Mastodon and Cynic ------------------------------------------------------------------- As always, check us out on Facebook and Twitter. ExplicitZomcast 48: Happy Thankgiving, now here is some tasty new music | HAPPY THANKSGIVING. After taking a week off to let my voice and my ears heal from the last show I went to, I'm back with a new episode. This week I realized that it's been a few weeks since I've really played some new bands and given some new stuff to choke on...so here it is. I'm wiener-less this week, but never fear...he will return regardless if you like it or not. Bands featured this week are In Flames, Jeffrey Nothing, Turisas and Chrome Division...eat it up! ------------------------------------------------------------------- As always, check us out on Facebook and Twitter. ExplicitZomcast 47: 1986…ish | Since 11-11-11 is National Metal Day I decided to go a little retro. The year of 1986ish was a fantastic year for metal and a pivotal year for this metal fan. I don't think you can appretciate what you have today unless you know where it came from. Oh yeah, I almost forgot....HOT DOG IS BACK! Strangely, even with Hot Dog back we are able to keep the discussion on track. Bands featured this week are the Big 4. ------------------------------------------------------------------- As always, check us out on Facebook and Twitter. ExplicitZomcast 46: Happy Halloween! | Happy Halloween A! I don't know why I said "A"...I guess I'm feel especially Canadian today. I'm not even sure why I feel Canadian. I mean, I've been there a few times but as far as I know there is no Canuck blood coursing through these veins. I guess feeling Canadian is just like feel American only with higher taxes? Anyway, check out the Halloween podcast. Bands featured this week are Wednesday 13, The 69 Eyes and of course...Type O Negative. ------------------------------------------------------------------- As always, check us out on Facebook and Twitter. ExplicitZomcast 45 – Instrumetal | Hi kids! How have you all been? I've been good, but obviously a little lazy since you haven't been seeing regular podcasts from me. I'm trying to get out of my funk I swear....and by funk I mean mood, not my own poo. This week it's all about instrumental metal or "instrumetal"...I'm gonna trademark that word, I swear. I also go off on a little rant about people and their titles. Bands featured this week are Karma to Burn, Animals as Leaders and Liquid Tension Experiment. ------------------------------------------------------------------- As always, check us out on Facebook and Twitter. ExplicitZomcast 44 – Back with a little thrash | I'm getting my crap back together. Yes, I'm recording the podcast again. Sadly, this week I'm a man without a wiener. Hot dog is off being the mythical creature that he is and eluding the authorities so we haven't been able to connect do do any recording. I'll have to do. Bands feature this week are Testament, Trivium and Anthrax. ------------------------------------------------------------------- If you haven't checked it out already, go check out our video stream on uStream. The recorded stuff may run a little choppy but what the hell do you expect for free. As always, check us out on Facebook and Twitter. As always, Happy Headbanging! | 9/25/11 | Free | View In iTunes |

ExplicitZomcast 43 – Solo broadcast to say goodbye to a friend… | It's been a few weeks since we broadcast, I apologize. It's a very somber broadcast this week as I take an opportunity to say goodbye to one of my best friends, my dog of 15 years, Dakota. 15 years is a heck of a long time to share a roof with someone and he was always there for me, rather it be to make me laugh or just listen to my problems. It may seem strange to some to become so attached to a dog, but we grew up together. RIP buddy...we'll never forget you. ------------------------------------------------------------------- If you haven't checked it out already, go check out our video stream on uStream. I remembered to punch "record" on this weeks video stream so it's up there. The recorded stuff may run a little choppy but what the hell do you expect for free. ExplicitZomcast 42 – Fake bands, real songs | Thankfully, Hot Dogs innards are back to normal and we have fewer discussions about poop. This week I had a stroke of inspiration from hanging out at the "Ripper Owens Tap House" to do a show that is fake bands but real songs. Bands this week include Lestat, Dethklok and Steel Dragon. If you haven't checked it out already, go check out our video stream on uStream. I remembered to punch "record" on this weeks video stream so it's up there. ExplicitZomcast 41 – Cougars, Potter and Poo. | This week we rambled about Harry Potter, cougars running around Canton and Hot Dogs current pooping situation. For music this week it's classic metal bands who are still turning our current music. I think we did a pretty good job. Bands this week include Motorhead, Iron Maiden and Judas Priest If you haven't checked it out already, go check out our video stream on uStream. I forgot to punch "record" on this weeks video stream so it's isn't up there but some previous stuff is. The recorded stuff may run a little choppy but what the hell do you expect for free. ExplicitZomcast 40 – Punching the Reboot on Life? | Check out the sweet new Zomcast logo! I happen to really like it, but I may be a bit bias since I made it. This week we talk about the dude who is ebaying his life, Hot Dogs fast forward vacation and start to show how boring we really are. Not our most humerious episode but still funny. Bands this week include Skyclad, Battlestar and Lake of Tears If you haven't checked it out already, go check out our video stream on uStream. ExplicitZomcast 39: Hip Hop, Technical Issues and Weirdness | We have come to realized the Hot Dog and I just talk too damn much. This episode goes almost an hour and we still only played three songs... we are some chatty bitches. We had a few technical difficulties and things went a little weird. Bands for this go round are Cynic, Therion and Van Canto You can now check us out on uStream. On there you can see video of us in StudioZ as we record the podcast. You get to hear our conversations when the mics are off and you get to see our wonderful technical blunders. Don't forget to subscribe on iTunes and also check us out on Facebook PS. ExplicitZomcast 38 – Zomcast Maritals Vol. 1 | This week we have a very special Zomcast. I'm calling it Zomcast Maritals...Mrs. Zombie joins me on the microphone. She doesn't see to think she did very well but I think she did fabulous. Please let her know how fabulous she did. I think you'll enjoy our random banter. Bands for this go round are Katatonia, Kalmah, and TesseracT As always, zomcast@wingzombie.com. Hit me up on Facebook and subscribe to me on iTunes, Zune, Feedburner and so on. Seriously, subscribe! ExplicitZomcast 37 – Bears, Banjos and Political Asylum | This deal with Hot Dog is almost become like a regular part of the show. We did a morning recording and things got a bit lengthy...it's probably only funny to me, but that's really all that matters. I'm not joking in the episode title BTW. Bands for this go round are Tyr, Forever In Terror and A Pale Horse Named Death (what a fantastic name for a band). As always, zomcast@wingzombie.com. Hot Dog is dying for some feedback so email and lets us know if he's worth a damn. Hit me up on Facebook and subscribe to me on iTunes, Zune, Feedburner and so on. Seriously, subscribe! ExplicitZomcast 36 – Growly chicks = Metal I don’t really care for | My co-host returned this week for more strange ramblings about things metal and things not. We may only make ourselves laugh but at least we do that. This is the part where I normally tell you what we rambled about, but I honestly don't remember. I do remember that I featured some songs that I don't really like just so I can tell you that I don't like them. Bands featured this week include Arch Enemy, The Agonist and In This Moment As always, zomcast@wingzombie.com if you want to let me know that you love me or hate me. Hit me up on Facebook and subscribe to me on iTunes, Zune, Feedburner and so on. Seriously, subscribe! Pretty please! Do I have to get down on my knees and beg you? ExplicitZomcast 35 – Pirate Metal and a Co-host | This episode we have a very special occurrence...my first guest! That's right kids, Hot Dog joined me as a co-host this week and well, you'll have to tell me how you think it went. In honor of Disney and their new blockbuster we are featuring Pirate Metal. I know, I was surprised when I learned about it as well, but then it's probably not any more strange than Viking metal. Bands featured this week include Running Wild, Swashbuckle and Alestorm. As always, zomcast@wingzombie.com if you want to let me know that you love me or hate me. Hit me up on Facebook and subscribe to me in iTunes, Zune, Feedburner and so on. Seriously, subscribe! ExplicitZomcast 34 – New to me and the economy! | This week I make sweeping accusations and rampant generalizations about the general ma-laze of John Q. Pubic as I go on a little soliloquy about society, the media and the economy. OK, it really isn't nearly that deep, but that sounded pretty impressive. Bands featured this week include Periphery, Grand Magus and Scar Symmetry. As always, zomcast@wingzombie.com if you want to let me know that you love me or hate me. Hit me up on Facebook and subscribe to me in iTunes, Zune, Feedburner and so on. Seriously, subscribe! Pretty please! Do I have to get down on my knees and beg you? ExplicitZomcast 33 – A man ain’t no man unless he’s got a Cadillac. | In this episode I attempt to embrace the lighter side of metal. Even the most dower, dark and angry metalhead has to laugh and smile once in a while. I also rant a little about crappy event organization and how I loved the circus. Bands featured this week include Anthrax, Quiet Riot and Volbeat. ExplicitZomcast 32 – Vomit (again) and Metal Ballads | I'm back again after one of my all too frequent multi-week Zomcast breaks. I took a little vacation trip and then I decided to come back and party like a rock star. I discovered that as much as I would like to be...I'm not a rock star. As I morn the loss of my sanity, I decided to make this week a little mellow and embrace the metal ballad. Bands featured this week include Opeth, Shadows Fall and Machine Head. As always, zomcast@wingzombie.com if you want to let me know that you love me or hate me. Hit me up on Facebook and subscribe to me in iTunes, Zune, Feedburner and so on. ExplicitZomcast 30 – No rants, just rambling | No, I'm not ranting about stuff that doesn't make sense...I'm just rambling and not making any sense. This is what happens when you leave a man like me alone with his thoughts and a microphone. You get a bunch of unfunny ramblings that only make sense to the admitting physician. Bands featured this week include Protest The Hero, Memphis May Fire and Scale the Summit...wait, maybe the theme is "three word band names for 100 Alex!" As always, zomcast@wingzombie.com if you want to let me know that you love me or hate me. Hit me up on Facebook and subscribe to me in iTunes, Zune, Feedburner and so on. ExplicitZomcast 29 – Vomit and Viking Metal | I've been on a bit of a break because....I broke myself. I tell a nice little disgusting story about how it all went down, or didn't go down depending on how you want to take that. After I get done telling you about my adventures with pathogens and porcelain, I go on to play some pretty kick ass Viking metal. Bands featured this week include Crom, Ensiferum and Amon Amarth....it's a bunch of dudes you'd love to party with as long as you aren't one to pick fights when you drink. As always, zomcast@wingzombie.com if you want to let me know that you love me or hate me. Hit me up on Facebook and subscribe to me in iTunes, Zune, Feedburner and so on. ExplicitZomcast 28 – I have no idea what I’m talking about. | Honestly, I have no clue what I'm talking about this week. My brain doesn't seem to be working exactly right lately (I mean, not right for me.... not "not right" for you. "Not right" for you is probably "right" for me). I just sat down, pressed record and saw what came out. I'm almost afraid to go back an listen to what I spewed. Bands featured this week include Byzantine, Pain of Salvation and Rasputina....an eclectic mix I would say Want to be on a podcast? Want to be on Zomcast? Drop me a line on the Zomcast Facebook page. ExplicitZomcast 27 – St. Valentine’s Day…feel the love | This week I'm up and running with all my new nifty recording schwag and I'm feeling the love. I'm pushing this out the day before the love holiday or as I like to think of it...the useless crock of s**t holiday where people are brainwashed into thinking that candy and a crappy teddy bear are a symbol of their love for each other. Bands featured this week include Bullet for my Valentine, Sirenia and The 69 Eyes. It's just a little sample of love songs and ballads that you can you sweetie can cuddle too by the fire. Want to be on a podcast? Want to be on Zomcast? Drop me a line on the Zomcast Facebook page. If you've got Skype and a decent headset, you could be my next guest host. ExplicitZomcast 26 – My playlist and a case of the sads | Howdy fans! Yes, I just said howdy. Well, for some reason I've got a bit of a case of the sads. Could it be the freezing temps, the sheet of ice covering everything or maybe the insane lack of sunshine that is NE. Ohio this time of year?...I'm going to venture to say that it's all of those things. Bands featured this week include Orphaned Land, Devin Townsend and Entwine...it's just a little sampling of what my playlist has looked like as of late. Want to be on a podcast? Want to be on Zomcast? Drop me a line on the Zomcast Facebook page. If you've got Skype and a decent headset, you could be my next guest host. ExplicitZomcast 25 – American Metal & Studio Lazarus arises | Howdy ya ungrateful bastards! Like Lazarus, Studio Z is back from the dead. The renovations are coming to a close and this place is looking better than it ever has. I don't really rant about much this week. A little jab about dealing with change and I lament on on how bad Headbangers Ball sucks now. Featured bands this week are All That Remains, High on Fire and Holy Grail. Want to be on a podcast? Want to be on Zomcast? Drop me a line on the Zomcast Facebook page. If you've got Skype and a decent headset, you could be my next guest host. ExplicitZomcast 24 – The Metal Year in Review | It's the year end wrap up for Zomcast. I was planning on a Christmas episode but it just didn't happen. This week I rant about...nothing. That's right, just me playing music. OK, I do at least talk a little but this episode is all about my top metal picks. I play cuts from my top 5 albums of the year. This is the part where I normally tell you what artists are featured on this episode, but if I did that then you wouldn't be surprised by my picks. You'll just have to listen to see what I came up with. Now, if you listen to the show on a regular basis there is a high probability that you can guess my picks and all ready rolling your eyes wanting to tell me how bad my musical tastes are. Yeah, suck it. As always, zomcast@wingzombie.com if you want to let me know that you love me or hate me. Hit me up on Facebook and subscribe to me in iTunes, Zune, Feedburner and so on. ExplicitZomcast 23 – Metal Weather and stop disrespecting me | Well the weather outside is frightful but inside its so metal! Yep, the blizzard is currently hitting so I decided to use my time indoors to talk with you good people. In this episode I get off on a little tirade about people from craigslist not respecting my time. You know who you are you jag offs so stop p*****g me off. Music this week is weather themed because of my current predicament. Bands featured include My Dying Bride, Sentenced and Dimmu Borgir. You get to listen to me butcher the name Dimmu Borgir at least a dozen times. As always, zomcast@wingzombie.com if you want to let me know that you love me or hate me. ExplicitZomcast Episode 22 – Southern Rock is alive and well…and you should be too. | This episode I go on a little jag talking about people who live in the past. You know that dude at the part who has been telling the same story for the past 20 years or that co-worker who still talks about how great it used to be. If you are that dude who still fantasizes about the big game you played your senior year then yeah...you are a douche and I want to punch you the throat. Speaking of the past, I wanted to show everyone that southern rock is still alive and great new stuff is being made RIGHT NOW! It's amazing what people are out there creating if you are just thoughtful enough to go and do a little digging. Bands featured are Black Stone Cherry, Maylene and the Sons of Disaster and Pride and Glory. As always, zomcast@wingzombie.com if you want to let me know that you love me or hate me. ExplicitZomcast Episode 21 – Hating on the haters and Beauty and the Beast | This week I spend sometime talking about the people who can't seem to accept any thing that is out side of what they like. At the same time, I bash the idiots who are dumb enough to think that the world should be non-judgemetal...I don't know where these things come from. For music this episode, it's about what I call "Beauty and the Beast" metal. I didn't coin the term but I can't remember exactly where I heard it the first time. For bands you get to hear Tristiania, Battlelore, Within Temptation and Epica. I haven't forgotten that this blog is more than just my podcast so expect more blog entries in the near future. ExplicitZomcast Episode 20 – My playlist and People being nice freaks me out. | I survived Las Vegas. It was a good trip but there is no place like home. I really have become a crabby old man and would rather sleep in my own bed. This week I talk about how I'm not used to a people being really nice to me and providing a high level of service. Being the fat kid from the trailer park I've realized that when people do that it freaks me out. I also realized some weirdness about Vegas. Since I had all that time on the road this week I decided to let you in on what I was listening to during all that time in airports and hotel rooms. Featured bands this week are Warbringer, The Sword, Iron Fire and Mushroomhead. As always, zomcast@wingzombie.com if you want to let me know that you love me or hate me. ExplicitZomcast Episode 19 – I’m back! Happy Halloween!!!! | I have to apologize for the extended absence. I truly have no excuse that is worthy of throwing out there so suck it! Now, with that out of the way... I knew that I had to have an episode up for Halloween. I mean honestly, what holiday is more metal than Halloween? I really don't see putting out a Columbus day edition of Zomcast. So, this weeks episode I did creepy kind of goth metal stuff in honor of Halloween and for the first time I have some repeat bands. The bands featured this week are Type O Negative, Moonspell, Danzig and Kamelot. Yes, two of those I have played before, deal with it. As always, zomcast@wingzombie.com if you want to let me know that you love me or hate me. Hit me up on Facebook and subscribe to me in iTunes, Zune, Feedburner and so on. ExplicitZomcast Episode 18 – Folk Metal and stop telling me because I just don’t care | Earlier this week someone asked me about folk metal and what I thought about some bands so it started me thinking. I go off on a little jag about how much I hate when people tell me all about how wonderful their kids are...how they are the cutest kids, smartest kids, etc. and so on. Featured bands this week are Wintersun, Cruachan, and Korpiklaani. As always, zomcast@wingzombie.com if you want to let me know that you love me or hate me. ExplicitZomcast Episode 17 – Metal brought to you by the number 3, and get off your backside! | I don't really know where the idea for this weeks show came from but, it features bands that use numbers in their name. It just so happens that all 3 bands that I featured have the number 3 in their name. Could it a manifestation of the trinity? I wasn't around last weekend to put together an episode and I spent my time out enjoying some things my tax dollars pay for. As a result, I go off on a little tirade about people who don't get out there and see what the world has to offer. Quite wasting all your time acquiring stuff and spend some time acquiring experiences. Featured bands this week are 3, Wednesday 13 and 3 Inches of blood. As always, zomcast@wingzombie.com if you want to let me know that you love me or hate me. Hit me up on Facebook and subscribe to me in iTunes, Zune, Feedburner and so on. ExplicitZomcast Episode 16 – Power Metal and please stop with the “overshare” | This week is one my favorite types of metal...POWER METAL!!! Being a kid who loved fantasy novels and Dungeons and Dragons (Ok, I admit it... I still love all that stuff) you can imagine how pleased I was when I discovered power metal. From my first Dio and Blind Guardian albums on, I was a fan. I also spend sometime this week talking about the "overshare". You know these people. They are the people who you have known for like 20 minutes and you already know everything there is to know about them. Them and the people who just won't ever seem to shut up. Bands featured this week are Firewind, Primal Fear and Kamelot As always, zomcast@wingzombie.com if you want to let me know that you love me or hate me. ExplicitZomcast Episode 15 – You are what’s wrong with customer service and the bands that made me metal | Woot! It was a crazy busy week this week but I still made time to visit Studio Z and do a little Zomcasting! This week I reflect on customer service and go off on a little rant about what I think is wrong with it and I hate to break it to you but, it's YOU! For music this week I take a stroll down memory lock down and think about some of the bands that really made me into the metal head that I am today. Featured bands are Testament, Suicidal Tendencies and Faith No more. As always, zomcast@wingzombie.com if you want to let me know that you love me or hate me. ExplicitZomcast Episode 14 – The biggest bands you’ve never heard of and where is my Chewbacca? | So yeah, I had a two week gap again. I'm sorry. I just had too much fun when I was at the Mayhem Festival and I wasn't up to putting together an episode last week. But, I'm back. This week I spend a little time talking about people who don't want anything to change. I also have some reflection on a need to find the Chewbacca to my Han Solo. I don't mean anything nasty by that, I just think that the Wing Zombie may be in need of a podcasting side kick. I talk about bands that have been around for a long time even though you have probably never heard of them. The bands featured are Amon Amarth, In Flames and Candlemass. I hope you enjoy the show. ExplicitZomcast Episode 13 – Brought to you by the letter “P” and you can’t be all things to everyone…or something like that. | I'm back from vacation! Yep, you get to deal with me some more. Today I got off on a little tangent about uni-taskers vs. multi-taskers. I'm not talking about people...I don't care about them. I'm talking about stuff. It could be your cell phone or your stove. Some times, it's cool to be able to do a bunch of different things and then other times it's good to just do one thing and do that one thing well. The theme for this week is bands that start with the letter "P" so I feature the bands Pagan's Mind, Porcupine Tree and Poisonblack. I hate this auto spell check sometimes, it makes me think that I'm doing a bunch of stuff wrong when really, I'm just using dumb words...it's the words that are dumb, not the typer. ExplicitZomcast Episode 12 – It’s the little things | Went and saw Dream Theater and Iron Maiden this past week. It was an amazing concert but it brought up a few things that I go on a rant about. There are couple things that venues need to pay attention too that would really make the concert going experience that much better. The bands featured this week are Dream Theater, Opeth and Bullet for My Valentine. There wasn't a theme to this weeks episode because frankly...I didn't feel that much like putting one together, deal with it. ExplicitZomcast Episode 11 – 80′s songs gone metal and how the TV lies to you | 80's songs gone metal and how the TV lies to you. I realize there was lots of great music in the 80's...hell, I'm a product of Bay Area thrash metal but let's face it, there was a ton of garbage. Thankfully some of your favorite metal bands and mine of remade some of these t**ds into something that is quite delicious. I also go off on a rant about how the TV lies to you. Featured bands this week are Children of Bodom, Deathstars and VentanA. Please support some of these guys, they are doing great things. As always, zomcast@wingzombie.com if you want to let me know that you love me or hate me. Hit me up on Facebook and subscribe to me in iTunes, Zune, Feedburner and so on. ExplicitZomcast Episode 10 – Let’s celebrate by playing some metal and blowing crap up! | Happy Independence Day. Yes, I'm coming to you live...uh, well not really. Coming you to recorded from the Zombie Den on this, the birthday of our nation. Because of the holiday I decided to play you some "patriotic" music. So, it's not really patriotic in the traditional sense but if you listen you get what I mean. I flip out a little about stupid laws and people blowing s**t up. The bands features this week are Iced Earth, Acrassicauda and Avenged Sevenfold or A7X as they and their fans refer to it. ExplicitZomcast Episode 9 – Stoner Metal and maybe it’s time for a reset | This week I stepped up to the microphone without much of an idea about what I was going to say. As I sat there I thought about how convoluted things have become and decided that maybe it's time for a reset. So, you can listen to me wax adequately about the possibility of a change. Maybe everything that is old is new again. The music this week is all about Stoner metal. While I'm not a stoner I do like this stuff. The bands featured are Priestess, Karma to Burn and The Sword. Some great metal from some great acts both new and old. As always, zomcast@wingzombie.com if you want to let me know that you love me or hate me. ExplicitZomcast Episode 8 – Industrial Metal and being poor isn’t an excuse | This week I had to clear up my feelings about the band Fear Factory so I took it as an opportunity to talk about industrial metal. I really do enjoy industrial metal and I feature Fear Factory, Static X and Mushroomhead. Now I know that some of you are going to rip me and tell me that Mushroomhead isn't industrial metal but I would argue that and since it's my show...I win. If you want to win then get your own damn podcast! If I can figure out how to podcast then you know it can't be that hard. I also go on a little rant about poor people. I don't have anything against being poor. I've been poor. The issue that I have is people who use being poor as an excuse for being a piece of s**t. Have a little pride and show a little self worth damn it! As always, you can find Zomcast on facebook and you can email me at zomcast@wingzombie.com. As always, thanks for the support and happy headbanging! | 6/20/10 | Free | View In iTunes |

ExplicitZomcast Episode 7 – Don’t jack me around…just tell me the price! American Heavy Metal | This week I decided to go with some straight forward good old fashioned American heavy metal. There are so many different sub-species of metal these days that everyone is looking for a their little "unique" piece of the world when they could do well to stick to the heavy metal ABC's. I also spend some time talking about how p****d I get when companies don't just tell me the whole price. Quit finding ways to screw me out of my cash without being up front about it. If you are going shaft me by charging extra just tell me going in so I don't have to figure out what the hell is going on. Bands featured this week are Seventh Void, Corrosion of Conformity and Anthrax. Just a note that Zomcast can now be found on iTunes as well as the other outlets. As always, you can let me know what they hell I'm doing wrong by emailing me at zomcast@wingzombie.com. You can also find Zomcast on Facebook. Happy headbanging! | 6/13/10 | Free | View In iTunes |
