Students.. Listen Up!
Pages just pays attention to detail, like those of you writing for essays/submissions are. Its beautiful, and even your papers will come out that much better. Have been using it since '09, and its been excellent. Not only that, the templates are easy to use. Need one format for your notes, another for your essay outlines, and finally the required style settings for your term papers? Just save the different templates, when you launch the app, click the template and you're ready to go. Just not possible on MS Word.
One downside however, is that becuase we still live in an MS Word world, I still depend on MS Word to launch .docs distributed by others. Pages can launch .docs, but the formatting sometimes just isnt right. However, if you need to send documents to your MS Word using friends, its not a problem. There's a very simple Export function on Pages that exports to .doc just perfectly.
All in all, its been 3 years of using Pages, and I've never looked back since. When's Pages '12 coming out!
