Vocals ruined it
The guitar work is quite impressive and very well done. Its got a nice heavy sound while still staying smooth. The vocalist totally ruined the album though. He completely took away from it and i just cant listen to it the same way. Get someone who can actually scream next time

I agree with the other reviewer. The instrumentals are pretty good and although I usually hate breakdowns, they pull it off pretty well and they dont last too long. But like the majority of the metalcore genre, their gaping flaw is in the vocals. If their vocalist actually did real growls instead of his half-assed shouts, they could probably make for a decent melodeath band.
