amazing album!

4hero have been into the game for almost 20 yrs now, from the early hardcore breakbeats that lead to jungle. then they experimented with (tr)ip-hop/jazz to great degree. all the tracks on this compilation relate to each other, and play off of each other creating a smooth mix that leads the listener on journey thru an aural soundscape..... from house, to breakbeat, to dub, to jazz, to triphop, i would say it's all there working from individual songs to one long track of sublime goodness... a must buy!

because this album is red, hot. I absolutely love the variety of bands put into this album, I think it gives electronic a good reputation. This is definately worth spending money on!

Consistently on the front lines of the drum'n'bass battleground, the duo of Dego (McFarlane) and Marc Mac (Mark Clair) nevertheless failed to receive the exposure of luminaries like Goldie and Roni Size, mostly because they didn't release much 4hero material during jungle's crucial crossover years, from 1994 through 1997. Despite beginnings in London's hip-hop underground during the mid-'80s, the duo moved into the hardcore/rave scene later in the decade and recorded classics like "Mr. Kirk's Nightmare"...
