Great Comp - Excellent DJ Mix As Album Bonus...Don't Sleep
Slammin' comp from New York City DJ Spencer Product. I go to his party "The Ruff Club" on friday nights on the Lower East Side and this really sums up that "downtown sound" There are some great tunes on here from underground indie dance acts from all over, plus that unreleased mix of Bloc Party, a new track from A.R.E Weapons, Dan Deacon, etc etc. And what a great surprise to buy the whole album and get the full comp as a DJ mix as well with more tunes on it from CutCopy/Boys Noize, Headman and others...cool mix, NICE !!!
Bangin track selection!
Loved this compilation from start to finish. I've been playing out almost every track on here at my parties. Plus the 51 minute mix helps get me hyped before I go out. Make sure you check Spencer Product out next time you're in NYC. So sleazy and hot.
Lot's of Surprises Here
Lot's of choice tunes here from up and coming artists backed by spectacular tracks from the likes of Boyznoize, Free Blood and Bloc Party. But what caught my ears were the unreleased jams from Dan Deacon's remix of The Death Set to the Ruckus Roboticus Remix of Bloc Party and best of all Trentemoller's mix of Copenhagen, a classic for those that know. An excellent and diverse track selection expertly mixed. More of this please!
