Professionals at Work
The excellent fidelity of their mixes and mastering is icing on the cake of groove, vibe, and great performances. I was like Jon H and had Scorpio Rising as my favorite album of theirs, but am also changing to this one. A definite listen all the way through album, and if you're thinking of buying a few of the songs rather than the whole album, you'll be back tomorrow for the others.
Great Album!
I have never really been into electronic music (besides Girl Talk) but I saw Thunderball live last week and it blew my mind. I then got this album immediately after the show. It's great for dancing as well as the mellow, but all mighty head bob. The sounds are interesting, and the beats don't get boring. Highly recommend this!
Check, check it
I have just recently stumbled upon Thunderball. After getting absorbed in bass and beats at a show, Even though the whole group could not make it, the music stood strong enough to realize I wanted to hear more. I got a copy of the cd and eagerly indulged the next day. On my daily car ride home I was reminded of the night before, but I got caught up in the orchestration, soulful grooves, and sitar that put a smile on my face. It hasn't come out of my stereo since. I highly recommended it and hope enough of you agree so that I can see the whole group next time.
