Cory does it again

Cory has delivered another amazing album. He is one hell of a storyteller, painting visually poignant images that transcends generations and interweave our collective pasts. He gives us nostalgic remembrances of our lives with a glimpse into the Southern American subconscious. One of the best albums I’ve heard in years. An instantly classic album with underlying nuances that will involve several spins before they become truly appreciated and apparent.

Finally

Another great album by a fantastic singer/songwriter. Not Rock. Not Country. Just Americana.

Great CD

another great cd from a great artist, some of the songs may not strike your taste at first, but no matter what they somehow find a way to grow on you. I've waited so long for this cd to come out ever since i first heard about cory over the summer. A must have for any collection P.S. I think that the title names for tracks 5 and 6 may be switched because the first words on track 6 are "I was secretely enamored." Just thought i'd let you all know

Cory Branan joined the ranks of Ryan Adams, Pete Yorn, and Bright Eyes' Conor Oberst at the dawning of the new millennium as one of the many impressive singer/songwriters to watch. Born and raised in Southaven, MS, Branan was surrounded by music from an early age. His father, Dallas Branan, was a local drummer.
