Album Review

As the title might suggest, this grunge-metal effort is suitably gloomy and visceral, both in the growling vocal delivery of lead singer Scooter and the band's triple guitar assault. While it's nothing remarkable, there are enough decent hooks to tunes like "End of the World" and "Just Got Wicked" to make the album appealing to even the downright optimistic.

Customer Reviews

Their best album.

Its a better mix of the hard and the soft songs from cold. Plus it has the biggest string of hits not just one or none like the other albums. You can play this one in the car with the windows down if you know what I mean.

Ohh yeah

This is one of Colds best albums ever. I wish they would keep more to the style they used in this one in their later albums. This one has a lot more metal and there is much more creativity. Its a little different from A Different Kind of Pain but I highly highly recommend it to any Cold fan or to anybody. I purchased it after Year of the Spider and A Different Kind of Pain and I love it. This so far would be my favorite cd by them even thou the others are great too.

Good Stuff

This is Cold at their finest. Their later albums don't match the intensity and creativity of 13 ways. IF YOU LIKE THIS ALBUM,STAY AWAY FROM A "DIFFERENT KIND OF PAIN" It is an entirely different sound.
