iTunes Review

An extraordinary MC who was silenced by gunfire just as his career was at its peak, Big L continues to inspire wordsmiths from beyond the grave. Down with the formidable Diggin' In The Crates collective, he was discovered by Lord Finesse and dropped just one official solo album (Lifestylez Ov Da Poor & Dangerous) before his untimely death in 1999. Named after his home turf in Harlem (also known as the Danger Zone), this 12-track collection includes rare unreleased tracks and several exclusive remixes that showcase his untouchable blend of intricately layered verses, sick punchlines, battle-tested bravado, and ultra-grimy storytelling. Featuring production from Buckwild, Roc Raida, and Hi-Tek, plus guest appearances from T-Rex, C-Town, Shyheim, and Children of the Corn homie McGriff, it is a rock solid compilation and a must for any D.I.T.C. follower. Standout selections include "Games Females Play," "We Got This," and a live version of his controversial debut single "Devil's Son."

this album is great. even though a lot of the songs are remixes, there is still some great unheard material on here, and the remixes are pretty good, too. Big L is top 5 dead or alive. click yes if you agree.
