Great Alt Rock Album!
Cherry Lane is an excellent “throwback” rock album when songs were about songs and not about how loud a singer can scream or how low a bass player can tune. 13 is a great song that reminds me of Early Spinal Tap at their best. Seduced Again is a great anthem that would fit right in on any alt rock album. Great production and personal lyrics really pull this album together. If you want an album you can sit back and actually listen to, KO is the band for you.
One of My New Favorite Albums
I came across this album while iTunes surfing, listened to the track samples and downloaded it immediately. I think the guitar work is great and reminds me of an old-school rocker that does not have to overload the distortion to get the job done. If you want an upbeat album full of catchy hooks, you should check this one out!
Awesome
175 Cherry Lane is a great album! It takes you back to when you can actually just sit and listen to some music. No worries about offending anyone with lyrics or booming drums and guitars. Great for any occasion. You can definately get loss in the music and imagine exactly what is being said. Was playing when my 6 year old daughter walked in and her response was "that's good stuff mom" with her head bobbing. That's gotta say something!!! Enjoy listening.
