Huge mistake
Apple obviously made a ~huge~ mistake in pricing this album. Get it before they figure it out.
An Amazing Recording
The tunes are timeless, the band is terrific but the recording is amazing. If you have ever wanted to sit in the band instead of just listen to it this is the one for you. The presence of this recording is stunning. Don't know who the sound engineer was but this and the other session issued in 2004 are pure genius. Do the math 20 songs for $5.99. 30 cents a song, WOW!
Well Worth It!
As a DJ who spins a big band/swing set I recommend this. The music is full and powerful and sounds good over a system unlike some of the originals.
