Album Review

The Millennium Collection: The Best of Diana Ross & the Supremes Volume 2 gathers more of the Motown stars' latter-day hits, both with and without Diana Ross. "Nothing But Heartaches," "My World Is Empty Without You," "Love Is Here and Now You're Gone," and "The Happening" are some of the highlights of their late '60s output, while "Up the Ladder to the Roof," "Stoned Love," and "Nathan Jones" are some of the hits from the Jean Terrell-led incarnation of the group. A worthwhile compilation for anyone interested in the later days of one of the '60s' biggest hitmakers.
