RUNRIG

I read few of the reviews about this bad and honestly, we are all a little skeptical about what others write, but this time I'm afraid they were right all along. As most of us who know about this bad, I heard them for the first time while in Scotland, I only heard one cd (heartland) and it got my attention and curiosity, I then came back to the States and did some research about their work and my conclusion was as follows: It is very rare that I would consider a band to have more than 80% rate of great material production and RUNRIG is one of the few, with very few exceptions, almost every album is fantastic. I am impressed with the quality of the songs they kept along the years and the feeling that exudates from each one of them. I truly believe anyone should give them a try, I guarantee that if you love good rock music, you will fall in love with this band (despited the Gaelic lyrics of some of their songs since we most of us don't understand it). I would highly suggest that you start with albums "Proterra" and "Stamping Ground" and then you can go to "The Best - 30 Year Journey" and then you'll see what I'm talking about. ENJOY IT!!

runrig a 30 year journey

This is a great mix of some of runrigs best tunes. Highly recommened for all scottish music lovers. If you haven't listened to any of runrigs music before now is the chance! Great music to sit back and relax to, perhaps even with a glass of scotch.
